Wow, surprised by the low rating. Pricey beehoon with ingredients... but the chicken wing was good and so delicious. The beehoon given was very little though; it can be finished in five mouthfuls. The stall staff are very friendly.
Bought two Set B (bee hoon + chicken wing) with an add-on of curry vegetables. We were charged for one set, and the other became full à la carte.
Lol, next time, don't add on anything when buying the set bee hoon meals, or one of them becomes full à la carte. 😅
Oh, and the attitude of the lady who served us (someone posted her picture in another review) was so bad, as if we owed her salary. 😅
The price hike for Set A and Set B from $3 to $4.50 is a joke, especially when the new Set A (one chicken wing + bee hoon) is the same as the old Set B, without any additions.
I wonder how the bosses justify this price hike, especially when the TM outlet is prone to being inconsistent with the size of chicken wings they provide. Some days it's normal; other days, perhaps the auntie just doesn't like you and gives you the smallest one of the lot.
At least be more consistent with the food you are serving.
I have been a long-time patron of this store, and the food, especially the chicken wings, is good. However, I had to write this review regarding my particular purchase on Christmas Lunch 2024. I'm not sure if the cook was new or just angry at having to work on a public holiday (PH), but the effort put into the food was a joke. The chicken wings were under-seasoned and overcooked. The fried rice was mushy and under-seasoned and undermixed, with literal bunches of white rice still visible. Even my fiancé's bee hoon was dry and bland. Fei Shiong needs to have some standards for who is allowed to cook if they want to continue surviving in the competitive F&B industry.
Very, very bad experience. I hadn't even started to order when I got pissed off by the cleaner lady. There were so many empty tables, yet she kept pushing us to sit next to the staff exit door. She then kept saying, 'Because this table has a back-rest chair, it's better for the elderly.' I had to tell her off, explaining that if she wanted, she could just change the chair, as there was only one back-rest chair out of the eight chairs. What an experience. I will never visit again.
I liked this brand's product. Since it's summer year-round here, I visited to buy deodorant. Although I had to pay more than in Korea (where it costs $5-6), the shopping experience there felt good. The staff there was kind, and I could try diverse products. It would be more comfortable to have price tags on the products. I had to ask the staff for the price since I couldn't find a price tag.
I was served by staff member Yan Li today. I’m very impressed by her excellent customer service and patience. Her positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for customers are appreciated. She also demonstrated excellent product knowledge, which helped me feel confident in my purchase. Thank you!
This evening, around 6:30 PM, I stopped by Aesop Tampines. Despite the small number of people, the staff was warm and attentive, suggesting thoughtful gift ideas as they listened attentively. We engaged in conversations over cups of freshly poured mint tea while my purchase was being prepared. I appreciate the personalized service delivered with genuine passion! Cheers
Visited this store a few times, and coincidentally, I always met Audrey. I like that she remembers me all the time and gives recommendations for presents. She also wished me safe travel when I told her I was going for a holiday. This is the first time a sales assistant has said this to me, and it's special. Thank you! :)
