Visited this store a few times and, coincidentally, I always met Audrey. I like that she remembers me and gives recommendations on presents. She also wished me safe travels when I told her I was going on holiday, and this is the first time a sales assistant has said this to me; it’s special. Thank you (:"
The service staff who attended to me gave off an "I am not interested in the job" or "I would rather be anywhere but here" vibe.
When I asked if a particular SD card was available, he just said "Sorry, all there." I had to look for it myself and found it. When I paid for the product at the cashier, he attended to me again. Despite having a $30 stored value in my account, he didn't bother to inform me or apply it to my purchase. I had to remind him, and he just said "Oh, ok, yeah sure."
Young man, go forth and seek your desired profession. I'm sure you're dreaming of a job as an astronaut, a fighter pilot, or a multimillionaire. Whatever it may be, go for it, but for goodness sake, get your rear end out of this job now so I can have a more pleasant customer experience next time.
Bought an iPhone 15, and the salesman didn’t seem knowledgeable. I was also disappointed that they didn’t have the pink iPhone on display, so we couldn’t see what it looked like in real life until we purchased it. However, the same was true for Singtel, so maybe it's an agreement with Apple or something. Worst of all, this branch ran out of adapters, so we waited for a staff member (apparently their boss) to go to Tampines 1 to get one, and it took more than 15 minutes. Overall, it was quite a subpar experience.
"I came in this evening to get a laptop for my son. I shared the specific requirements from his school with the staff (a tall, spectacled Chinese boy). The staff member was very rude and kept pushing me to buy a laptop with lower specs than what was required. He kept saying that it was enough. Of course, I asked questions, and he started to get irritated. Why would I pay over 1.5k for a laptop that doesn't meet my son's needs? I've been a strong supporter of buying my IT products from Challenger, but you've just lost a customer. I ended up buying a laptop from the shop downstairs. Challenger needs to start training their staff to have a better attitude towards customer service."
Kian attended to help check the laptop that I purchased. He made sure that everything was fine before I left the outlet.
The young lady at the cashier was also friendly and helpful.
I hope that the rest of the staff follows their example.
I was attended by salesperson Hareyam. He is friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. I'm impressed by his excellent service. He even went the extra mile and got the Redmi iPad at Tampines 1 for us. I appreciated his help and assistance. He is the best employee.
This morning, we visited the store to purchase a laptop and received excellent service from Linda and Lee Pei Wei. They were: 1. Courteous, 2. Helpful, and 3. Knowledgeable. It was certainly a joy to shop there. Now that we are members, and with such excellent service, we will definitely head to Challenger in Tampines Mall for our tech needs.
Thank you,
Best Regards,
Jasmine Wong
The staff were very rude. I went there looking for an adapter for my camera, and one of the salespeople took a glance at my camera and said they don’t sell the adapter there. After a while, I saw an adapter that might be for my camera and went to find another salesperson to confirm it. He showed me attitude and said that wasn’t it, but then he went to find another adapter for me. While I was waiting for him at the side, he turned around and served another customer, leaving me standing there. I found that very rude, as they don’t value their customers. He should have at least told me that he was going to serve someone else first. Is this how their staff are trained? I was so mad, I put the adapter back and left the store. This will be my last time here.
The previous time I was there, the staff were very nice and helped me purchase the camera I wanted, especially when they told me to sign up as a member. But after this purchase, their attitude has been getting worse.

I visited the Challenger store at Tampines Mall to purchase a laptop for my computer course. Having relied on my two iPads for over a decade, this was a significant shift for me.
Wayne Sho, the staff member who assisted me, was helpful, friendly, and patient in addressing my queries. When I asked if he could assist me with the installation of MS Office and Norton antivirus software, he did so without hesitation, ensuring a seamless experience. Thank you, Wayne, for your excellent service.
The staff here are super impatient and not polite at all when dealing with client warranty issues. I was missing my receipt and tried to search their system for a record of my transaction, but they refused to help me. I had bought my Sudio earphones last Wednesday, May 15, 2023. The left earphone won't charge, and I wanted to claim the warranty, but the staff was so rude and refused to assist me.
I will not buy anything from Challenger again; this was a very bad experience from this shop! The staff had a very bad attitude!
