I have always been a regular patron of Tampines Courts for my household appliances, including my refrigerator, television, iron, vacuum, and washing machine. Each time I visit, the sales promoters in every section are consistently friendly and helpful in addressing my queries and needs.
During my most recent visit, I was assisted by a very polite gentleman, Mr. Edwin. He not only paid close attention to minor details but also went the extra mile to double-check that the information he provided was accurate and up-to-date.
Additionally, Mr. Yong Loong ensured that my purchase and delivery details were accurately recorded while carefully reiterating key instructions for my reference.
Based on my experience, Courts seems to have the best pricing and deals compared to Harvey Norman, Best Denki, and Gain City.
Looking forward to subsequent visits.
The food was good – I had the Vegetarian Fried Rice with Lychee Iced Tea. There was a 10-minute wait at lunch, so factor that in if you're going then. The ambiance was nice.
The rice rolls taste good, and the pho wasn’t bad. However, it takes a long time to get my order. Moreover, the fried rice had a long strand of hair on it, which was disgusting. I didn’t take a photo since I had already given it back to the nice server. It made me doubt the hygiene of the kitchen.
The pho here is average – not good, but not bad either. Passable. Service was pretty fast, even at dinner time. However, the noodles were clumpy, and the beef tasted mediocre. The soup was decent, but it's just a place to fill your stomach, not to indulge in nice Vietnamese food. The portion of bean sprouts they gave was very small. The beef portion was slightly lacking too, but meat is expensive; what's the excuse for so few bean sprouts?
Suitable for solo travelers.
This Vietnamese-style restaurant is a chain, and their basic beef noodle set is quite good. The beef is tender, and the seasoning is authentic. However, they tend to use a bit too much salt; while extra salt can enhance the flavor, it can leave diners quite thirsty after the meal.
Initially, I ordered through delivery, but their service wasn't good, as the soup would often spill. You can only truly enjoy the soup when dining in.
In terms of value for money, it's quite reasonable and a restaurant you can visit regularly.

Got here at 1 PM on a weekday. The crowd was just starting to thin out, and we got to pick our seats.
We chose three vegetarian dishes and had the lemongrass drink (which was a bit diluted).
The vegetarian summer roll was refreshing and went well with the accompanying chili sauce.
The stir-fried pho noodles were tasty and chewy. It's a good portion for two to share if you want to try different dishes.
The mango and papaya salad was the best of the three. It was tasty, flavorful, and well-balanced.
We ordered the Pho soup with fried meatball. 5/10.
And the Bun noodle - the shallots and nuts were soft and stale.
Water was 50c, which I detest. Why should food outlets charge for water in Singapore?
Been here more than 3 times.
Overall, the food was acceptable.
The waiting time is slightly longer during peak hours, approximately 10-15 minutes.
It's a Vietnamese restaurant, so their coffee should be good.
