The Menu 9 Special Soup is a herbal soup, yet it's sweet, not bitter. I was surprised to see two drumsticks 🍗 in a big bowl of piping hot soup.
Their ginseng chicken is also good. After trying it again, I decided to write a positive review for this stall.
At a price of $7.50, I think it's the best in the food court at that price point, as you get more protein and a balance of carbs.
The service staff are friendly and enthusiastic, so we should appreciate them.
I'm going to try some other menu items next time.
The lady gave me leftover soup overnight. The fish maw tasted sour, and the fish maw soup was dark in color, likely due to being overboiled. I was totally disappointed. It wasn't the first time I'd had fish maw soup, and it's usually lighter in color. I was a regular, but I won't be visiting again. The fresh soups are displayed in the pots in front, but they go to the back kitchen to get the leftover soups when you order.
Ordered the American Ginseng sliced fish soup, but it only had four thin slices of fish! There was no ginseng or red dates, as shown in the menu. This feels like cheating consumers!
I love the collection. The shop is small in space, but they have a variety of collections. The lady in the shop is especially cooperative; she serves shoppers with patience and provides good information.
Another MS NEW branch. We previously visited their shops at Paya Lebar Square & Paya Lebar Quarter Mall and had satisfactory shopping experiences.
This shop is located in the east, which is more convenient for us.
