My relocation was from Banda Street to Tampines Street 42. My wife paid for the open net relocation.
When My Republic relocated my fiber broadband to Tampines, they collected the relocation fee and the open net fee again.
I called My Republic and asked about the open net charge, as my wife had already paid for it. My Republic agreed to deduct it from my monthly bill, but it never fully deducted the amount my wife paid.
Now, my contract with My Republic expired on July 17, 2024. On July 16th, My Republic staff came to my house, and I returned all the items. However, it is now the end of September, and I still haven't received my deposit back.
I have emailed them my bank account details.
I am helpless and don't know where to seek help.
If anyone knows about my case and where I can seek help, please let me know. 🙏🏻
Thank you.

Be wary of the sign-up process in the shop. The agent wanted the customer to key in credit card details, including the CVS code, into his laptop without first offering the alternative of scanning a QR code to complete the payment on the customer's phone. The agent then acted clueless when asked to clear cookies on the SingPass URL after logging in to the agent's laptop to retrieve SingPass MyInfo. Very suspicious.

"Worst service I have ever experienced. The Wi-Fi was down for almost four days with no communication about the cause of the outage or the estimated time of repair.
This is by far the worst internet company. Avoid them at all costs."

Be careful with this telco. They send debt collectors after you without checking if you've actually paid your bills. It turned out I overpaid, and they had to process a refund after they'd already sent a debt collector.

"Owing to a sudden job relocation, we had to leave Singapore unexpectedly. This cannot be an unusual event in a country with so many expats. MyRepublic was very unhelpful and unsympathetic when we had to close our account. They offered no guidance or assistance regarding options to transfer ownership. When we attempted to do this ourselves, they made it so difficult that the other party withdrew, and we are left paying for the remaining 18 months, even though we will be leaving and new tenants will have their own network. So they have cost us money, time, and effort, as well as providing appalling customer service. They have not responded to my emails or made any conciliatory gesture. Do not sign up with them! I give them no stars for this review, but had to put one to be able to post."
