Don't know why it took so long to decide to come here. It's a really good restaurant, and the soup was top-notch. The other dishes were not bad as well. We had an enjoyable meal and will definitely come again.

I went to several branches of Lao Huo Tang, and this was my first visit at Tampines Mall. As always, their soup is of superior quality. The pig stomach soup has a very strong taste, not just peppery. The ginkgo seeds had completely softened in the soup, making it rich and nourishing. The herbal taste of Shi Quan Da Bu Tang, as always, is really strong. If you order this, it requires some prior experience, as the strong herbal taste might not be suitable for those who haven't tried Shi Quan before. The soup is so herbal that you can vividly taste the sweetness, bitterness, and earthiness. Besides the soup, their other dishes are great as well. I ordered the pandan chicken, which, though quite similar to their salted egg chicken, was very appetizing. They do update their menu occasionally. I used to like their Cola chicken wings, but it's no longer available, unfortunately.

The ambiance is described as warm and inviting, with beautiful decor that enhances the dining experience. Upon entering, we were greeted by a traditional Chinese atmosphere, with lanterns all around! We ordered the pig’s stomach soup and the ginseng chicken soup. The pig’s stomach soup was very tasty; the amount of pepper they put in was just right, so it was satisfying. The service was very good, and the staff were very friendly. Overall, I would visit again!

Worst iStudio experience ever. The staff was not very helpful and tried to upsell when I asked questions; they couldn't even advise if a MacBook Air M4 256GB was good enough for normal usage (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Furthermore, she made errors typing my email even when I wrote it out on paper, and I was then wrongly charged for an item that was supposed to be a freebie. I had to make a physical trip back to the store to sort it out, making it a very horrible experience.

The negative reviews are right. A staff member named L!n was unapproachable and not very helpful. He tried to upsell a bundle with the phone purchase but even got the phone price wrong. I had to show him the price on their display. His attitude got even worse after that. The upselling bundle was dropped; I just paid and left. 1 star for at least letting me check the phone before I left.

Here's the edited review: I can relate to the mixed reviews below. From my experience, it really boils down to the individual employee serving you. A week ago, I visited the store to ask a question, and unfortunately, the staff lady I approached had quite a rude attitude—even before I said anything. While I did eventually get the information I needed, the interaction left much to be desired. However, when I returned today, I was pleasantly surprised by two very friendly shop assistants who provided an excellent customer experience. It was clear that they genuinely cared, which made all the difference—it felt like more than just a transaction. Thanks to this positive experience, which exceeded my expectations, I’ll be happy to visit again.

The short guy with glasses was not approachable and replied to me with one-word answers. This happened around 3 PM (December 5th), and he was one of the two male staff members present at that time. On the same day, I went to Jewel to get my camera fixed within an hour. However, this Tampines iStudio guy told me to wait for 5-7 working days just to get an answer. He showed very poor professionalism and told me that I might need to pay for a camera replacement. I told him it was still under warranty, and he seemed to display a 'don't care' and 'not my problem' attitude. He implied that I might have dropped it or something else might have happened prior to this. When I tried to explain, again he had zero eye contact with me. It seemed he couldn't be bothered or was too busy to entertain a customer who hadn't bought anything there. Very disappointing. If he was tired, he should have communicated that. A lackadaisical attitude shouldn't be displayed on the front line. And your standard reply will be: “At iStudio, providing exceptional customer service is one of our highest priorities. We regret to hear about your unpleasant experience at our Tampines Mall location. We would appreciate it if you could reach out to us at [email protected] with more details of the incident so that we can conduct a thorough investigation. We apologise unreservedly for your unpleasant experience.“ Don't bother to reply. I've already provided your standard reply for you.

The associates were not friendly and gave one-word replies, which was frustrating. There were no proactive follow-ups, even when no solution was provided. While they are a reputable Apple provider, the customer experience was poor. I would not recommend visiting the store again.

I had a very disappointing experience at iStudio in Tampines Mall. During my visit, there was an ongoing promotion, but at no point did the salesperson inform me about it. Instead, they sold me the items at the discounted price without disclosing that they were part of a promotional bundle. As a result, I ended up purchasing an earbud and a power bank, which I didn’t particularly need or intend to buy. Had the staff simply informed me of the ongoing offer beforehand, I could have made a more informed decision and possibly opted out of the unnecessary extras. It feels misleading and gives the impression that the store is more interested in clearing unsold stock than being transparent and supportive of its customers.
