I never expected such excellent service from this OPPO store. There is only one salesperson, but he is incredibly knowledgeable about the products. He can answer almost every customer question and even proactively help install region-locked apps—this is what top-tier sales should be like! The store currently has special promotions, indicated by red price tags on the tables. However, it’s possible that they always mark prices this way just to attract customers. The price of the same OPPO phone in Singapore is more than double its price on its official Taobao store and does not include Xiao Ai AI Assistant. Of course, the models sold here are all international versions, meaning they use Google Play Store. I’ll write a separate review detailing the pros and cons of the two versions, as well as the highly praised Hasselblad camera. Currently, purchasing the X8 comes with a free 99-value gift box. I thought it would be accessories or peripherals, but it turned out to be a box full of nuts 🌰—totally unexpected! Buying the X8 Pro comes with a 199-value gift box. The box is larger and heavier, but inside, there are still just eight cans of nuts 🌰. I wonder if any customers are actually influenced by the size of the gift box. Other more practical gifts include a transparent phone case, a pair of 4th-generation noise-canceling earbuds, and a co-branded phone case from some brand. Even with these gifts, the price is still more than double that in Shenzhen. Friends who have used the mainland version mentioned that non-international models tend to have poor signal reception—sometimes even losing signal in MRT stations where other phones work fine. A certain "leading brand" has the same issue, which is indeed frustrating.

The female sales assistant is super friendly and knowledgeable about the products. I bought an OPPO Reno7 Z 5G phone and had many questions, which she was able to answer. I had an amazing shopping experience and will visit again. The product itself is great. It lived up to my expectations, and its connectivity strength is good. Good quality for its price. I will recommend it to others.

Oppo has really upped their game, both in their handphones and their selection of sales assistants. There's been a great improvement in the service compared to what I experienced several years ago. I was assisted by a male sales assistant, Trevor, on February 3rd, 2025, at the Tampines Mall Branch. He was very polite and very helpful. He showed a positive attitude and enthusiasm in serving customers. I bought the Oppo Reno 13 Pro in the end. So far so good, I am loving my new handphone, and I am a happy customer!

The salesperson seemed like he didn't want any business. He was watching over me like a hawk while I was checking out the phone. I was checking out the feel and camera of the Reno and then the Find X. As soon as I started testing the camera quality of the Find X, he asked me, "What are you looking for?" in a very rude tone. I replied, "Camera settings, like ISO and exposure, etc." He then said that it didn't have that, even though the settings were right in front of my eyes. HORRIBLE service! Fire that guy!

The tuition fees for this tutoring center are extremely high. However, the teachers' qualifications and the quality of instruction are really mediocre. As a parent, I have never received a proactive email or meeting from the teachers informing me about my child's progress. The school has minimal holidays, and it's very challenging to schedule makeup classes. Consequently, if parents want to take their children on vacation, they essentially end up paying tuition for nothing. They also don't offer any additional assistance. The front desk simply states, "This is how we operate."

Here's an edited version: "Hi, I’m getting frustrated over the persistent absence of Miss Heidi, the teacher for my child’s SAT class. Almost 70% of the lessons were taught by relief adjunct teachers. 1. How is the quality and continuity of instruction ensured with Miss Heidi’s persistent absence? 2. Why weren’t parents informed beforehand when resident teachers are absent for such extended periods and so frequently? 3. Worksheets have been unmarked and even gone missing for weeks whenever relief or adjunct teachers took over. Where is the accountability and responsibility? Please address and resolve these issues as soon as possible and provide an explanation to us as parents. I’m on the verge of raising a complaint against the centre to the authorities for this atrocious conduct. I’m not sure why I am still paying the full fees when such service is rendered."

The tuition centre has really helped me, and the teachers are really helpful, experienced, and always pushing me to do my best. I would really recommend it to everyone!
