I always enjoy walking past BreadTalk. It always smells great, and the staff are friendly. Their bread is a bit pricey, but it's worth it. You must try their floss bun bread. Another good bread is their Egg-O-Clock. Check out the picture for more information. 👍🏻

Jason and Robert provided impeccable service. They went the extra mile to debone the chicken for my baby. I will recommend this shop. Thanks!

"Horrible. I bought guanciale from Cut Butchery two days ago, and it was sour. When cooking the guanciale, it smelled awful and had a very strong pig smell. The meat had a sour and weird taste to it. I'm pretty sure it's spoiled, despite coming in a vacuum-sealed bag. Really disappointing."

"Very dishonest staff. I originally asked for wagyu eye round ($4/100g) for stewing soup, but the staff said the display pieces weren't good for sale anymore. He then proceeded to recommend tenderloin ($9/100g) instead of chuck or brisket cuts. I then opted for chuck ($3.6/100g), but noticed that he had keyed in another cut of beef ($6/100g) for payment. I clarified, and he said it was the same. I pointed out the price was different. He checked, apologized, and repriced the beef. I paid without checking further, as the price seemed about right and I assumed it was correct after he re-checked. After I went home, I realized he had charged me for another type of chuck cut, which was $4/100g. Perhaps next time I should ask for tenderloin ($9/100g) and hope he charges me only $4/100g? Also, how can a butcher not be familiar with the recommended cuts for various cooking methods? Tenderloin for stewing soup, wow!"

"A wide range of marinated salmon, chicken chops, wings, and drumlets are available and fresh. Best to cook them on the day of purchase or the next day. The staff is friendly and helpful."

Bought a slab of ribeye steak from them, totaling $130+. Initially, they said they would give us a discount. After weighing the meat at the usual price, no discount was mentioned. We had to ask them about the discount. Only then did they say they would give a 10% discount. The service was poor, as they only gave a small bag of ice and one plastic bag for the whole eight pieces of ribeye. Only when I requested another bag of ice and a plastic bag did they give them.

Bert and Jason are amazing at Cut Butchery. Their extensive knowledge of various meat cuts is truly impressive—they can explain the unique characteristics of each cut, from marbling patterns to ideal cooking methods. Whether you're looking for the perfect ribeye, specialty game meats, or advice on how to prepare a brisket, their expertise shines through. They take the time to understand your preferences and cooking abilities, then make spot-on recommendations. Their passion for quality meat is evident in how they describe the sourcing, aging process, and flavor profiles of everything in their display case. Cut Butchery is lucky to have such knowledgeable butchers who elevate the shopping experience.
