The short guy with glasses was not approachable and replied to me with one-word answers. This happened at 3plus (December 5th), and he was one of the two male staff members at that time. On the same day, I went to Jewel to get my camera fixed within an hour. However, the staff at the iStudio in Tampines told me to wait 5-7 working days just for an answer. He showed poor professionalism and told me I might need to pay for the camera repair. I explained it was still under warranty, but he seemed unconcerned and dismissive, implying I may have dropped it or something else had happened. I tried to explain further, but he made no eye contact. He seemed uninterested or too busy to help a customer who hadn't bought anything there. It was very disappointing. If he was tired, he should have let us know. A lackadaisical attitude shouldn't be displayed on the front line. And your standard reply will be: “At iStudio, providing exceptional customer service is one of our highest priorities. We regret to hear about your unpleasant experience at our Tampines Mall location. We would appreciate it if you could reach out to us at [email protected] with more details of the incident so that we can conduct a thorough investigation. We apologize unreservedly for your unpleasant experience.“ Don’t bother to reply. I've already replied for you.

The associates were not friendly and gave one-word replies, which was frustrating. There were no proactive follow-ups when a solution wasn't provided. While they are a reputable Apple provider, the customer experience was poor. I would not recommend visiting the store again.

I had a very disappointing experience at iStudio in Tampines Mall. During my visit, there was an ongoing promotion, but the salesperson never informed me about it. Instead, they matched the discounted price with available items and proceeded with the sale without disclosing that it was part of a promotional bundle. As a result, I ended up purchasing earbuds and a power bank – items we didn’t particularly need or intend to buy. Had the staff simply informed me of the ongoing offer beforehand, I could have made a more informed decision and possibly opted out of the unnecessary extras. It feels misleading and gives the impression that the store is more interested in clearing unsold stock than being transparent and supportive towards its customers.

I'd like to compliment Jay, who assisted me during my visit today. He was incredibly patient and helpful, and he took the time to understand what I was looking for. His product recommendations for a screen protector and case were spot-on, and made my shopping experience smooth and enjoyable. It's clear he genuinely provided great service, and I truly appreciated his friendly and professional attitude.

I can relate to the mixed reviews below, both positive and negative. From my experience, it really boils down to the individual employee serving you. A week ago, I visited the store to ask a question, and unfortunately, the staff member I approached had a rather rude attitude—even before I said anything. While I did eventually get the information I needed, the interaction left much to be desired. However, when I returned today, I was pleasantly surprised by two very friendly shop assistants who provided an excellent customer experience. It was clear that they genuinely cared, which made all the difference—it felt like more than just a transaction. Thanks to this positive experience, which exceeded my expectations, I’ll be happy to visit again.

The negative reviews are accurate. A staff member named L!n was unapproachable and unhelpful. He tried to upsell a bundle with the phone purchase but even quoted the wrong phone price. I had to show him the price on display. His attitude worsened after that. There was no more bundle upsell, just pay and leave. I give it 1 star for at least letting me check the phone before I left.

Worst iStudio experience ever. The staff was not very helpful and tried to upsell when I asked questions. They couldn't even advise if a MacBook Air M4 256GB was good enough for normal usage (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). She also made errors when typing my email, even though I'd written it out on paper. Furthermore, I was wrongly charged for an item that was supposed to be a freebie. I had to make a physical trip back to the store to sort it out; it was a very horrible experience.

I had a great experience at iStudio Tampines Mall. I visited the store just an hour before closing to replace my AirPods Pro 2, as the left side had stopped working. Despite it being near the end of the day, the staff was still very helpful and attentive. A big shoutout to Rich Ho for his excellent assistance! He explained that, due to a recent change in manufacturer, there have been quite a few issues with the current AirPods units. Instead of just pushing a sale, he recommended alternative earbuds with Active Noise Cancellation—offering both a high-end and a more affordable option. I went with the budget-friendly choice, tried them on the spot, and was genuinely surprised at how well they performed—comparable to the AirPods! I really appreciate the honest and helpful service from Rich. Highly recommended!
