I had a very disappointing experience at iStudio in Tampines Mall. During my visit, there was an ongoing promotion, but at no point did the salesperson inform me about it. Instead, they matched the discounted price with available items and proceeded with the sale without disclosing that it was part of a promotional bundle.
As a result, I ended up purchasing an earbud and power bank items we didn’t particularly need or intend to buy. Had the staff simply informed me of the ongoing offer beforehand, I could have made a more informed decision and possibly opted out of the unnecessary extras.
It feels misleading and gives the impression that the store is more interested in clearing unsold stock than being transparent and supportive towards its customers

worst istudio experience ever - staff was not very helpful and tried to upsell when i asked questions, cant even advise if macbook air m4 256gb was good enough for normal usage (i.e., excel, powerpoint etc), and she had errors in typing email even when I wrote out my email on paper and then i was charged wrongly for an item too that was supposed to be a freebie. had to make a physical trip back to the store to sort it out, very horrible experience

Ridiculous experience, staffs are unfriendly and unhelpful.
I was told by the staff that he cannot take my phone and pass to the technician for repair during my first visit, he told me to come again tomorrow as the technician was not in that day but would be available on the next day from 10:30am to 7:00pm.
So the next day,I went to the shop again. There were 3 staffs in the shop, since 2 were serving customers so I approached the other guy and requested for repair. This guy replied me "oh! Technician!". Then he walked back to the cashier counter, stood there and stare at the air, ignoring me. I was so confused, so I waited for another staff to finish serving his customer then I asked him again for repair, then this 2nd staff knocked on the door and asked the technician to come out from the room.
The technician printed papers for me to sign as he submitted my case in their system. I need to wait for 5 working days after checking. I was in a rush so I took the paper and left.
One week later, I went back to collect my phone and the technician told me I should read my emails and make payment before they can proceed the repair. I told him I didn't know this, and I don't have spare phone or laptop with me so I have no access to emails. The technician asked me why I didn't check with him earlier about payment procedure during my last visit.
I told him I thought I can make payment upon collection as your end didn't ask me to pay any deposit during last visit. The technician said to my face "this is the wrong assumption!". I replied him " I'm not working here, I don't know what's your procedure and you should be the one who explained to me. Give me back my phone, i don't need the repair anymore. "
Eventually, I paid them 50 dollar to get back my phone.
Strongly suggest the management to provide a proper training on customer service to all the staffs.

I went in to buy an iPhone and a jbl headset. A staff asked me what I wanted and once I told him, he said ‘ok’ and went back to another set of customers who were looking at mobile phones. I waited for another five mins for him to say something about how long I should wait and the headsets were locked, so helping myself to them wasn’t a choice. I then left to buy them elsewhere. No point having a store in a prime location with lousy staff who have no clue on how to communicate. Step up your game people!

The malay lady that served me lied to me by saying i will get free earbud with the purchase of iphone 16 pro max. When I reached home and check the receipt, I was surprised that I was actually being charged for the earbud. Current offer is $1699.53 for the iphone pro max. However, my total bill was $1888.53. Becareful of their sale tactic.

The negative reviews are right. Staff by the name of L!n was unapproachable and not very helpful. Wanted to upsell on a bundle with the purchase of a phone but even got the phone price wrong. Had to show him the price on their display. Even worse attitude after that. No more upselling bundle, just pay and leave. 1 star for at least letting me check the phone before I left.

This evening around 8:30pm, I went to istudio Tampines Mall to buy iPhone 16plus with Grab Pay later. I saw one male staff and one female staff. Both of them are lack of customer service and professionalism. The female staff answered my question back with an impatient response. Also, when I told male staff who is wearing the glasses that I want to buy device, he is also not patient. He even looked down me as I am wearing casual clothes and I want to buy with an instalment plan. So maybe he thinks I am poor. Whatever, this is not a professional attitude what a salesperson should have. If they think that they are not deserved to provide friendly customer service, just go and work other careers. If they are working in customer service industry, they should know what are the responsibilities and attitudes of a salesperson. istudio should train the staffs more to smile and be more professional. If they don’t want to sell with instalment plan, then don’t let customers use Grabpay Later. In the end, I found out that my Grab wallet doesn’t have PayLater function. So I couldn’t use it. If the salesperson is professional and kind, I would buy with full payment. So I decided to go Apple Store which is at Jewel and I am gonna buy there. I visited Apple official store in MBS and I only purchased the adapter. But their customer was so warm and recognisable. After this terrible experience at istudio, I will not come to istudio anymore.

The short guy, with glasses, was not approachable and replied me in one word kind. This happened at 3plus (5 Dec) and he was one of the two male staff at that time.
On the same day, I went to Jewel to get my camera fixed within an hour. However this Tampines I studio guy told me to wait for 5-7 working days just for an answer. He was very poor in professionalism and told me that I may need to pay for my camera change. I told him it was still under warranty and he seemed to show me the don’t care and not my problem attitude and implied that I might have dropped it or something else might had happened prior to this …and I tried to explain, again he had zero eye contact with me. He seemed that he can’t be bothered or too busy to entertain a customer who didn’t buy anything there. Very disappointing. If he was tired, let us know. Lackadaisical attitude shouldn’t be in the front line.

The associates were not friendly and gave one-word replies, which was frustrating. There were no proactive follow-ups when no solution was provided. While they are a reputable Apple provider, the customer experience was poor. I would not recommend visiting the store again.

I can relate to the mixed reviews below, both positive and negative. From my experience, it really boils down to the individual employee serving you. A week ago, I visited the store to ask a question, and unfortunately, the staff lady I approached had quite a rude attitude—even before I said anything. While I did eventually get the information I needed, the interaction left much to be desired. However, when I returned today, I was pleasantly surprised by two very friendly shop assistants who provided an excellent customer experience. It was clear that they genuinely cared, which made all the difference—it felt like more than just a transaction. Thanks to this positive experience, which exceeded my expectations, I’ll be happy to visit again.

Was looking for a iPhone 12 pro protective case and screen guard but wasn’t sure which brand to get. Ask the sales lady for recommendation and she was helpful and patient to explain the options including highlighting which brands had warranty and which don’t. Ended up getting the Gear4 clear cover, Element Screen Protector and Zeelot lens protector in navy blue. Previously brought the Samaronic Earbuds from them as well and the service was prompt and fast then. Overall consistent service on both occasions.

I had a great experience at iStudio Tampines Mall. I visited the store just an hour before closing to replace my AirPods Pro 2, as the left side had stopped working. Despite it being near the end of the day, the staff was still very helpful and attentive. A big shoutout to Rich Ho for his excellent assistance! He explained that due to a recent change in manufacturer, there have been quite a few issues with the current AirPods units. Instead of just pushing a sale, he recommended alternative earbuds with Active Noise Cancellation—offering both a high-end and a more affordable option. I went with the budget-friendly choice, tried it on the spot, and was genuinely surprised at how well it performed—comparable to the AirPods! Really appreciate the honest and helpful service from Rich. Highly recommended!
