My family has been a loyal patron of Swensen's Tampines branch for over a decade. Our visits are always made pleasant by the staff, especially Raymart. His dedication to his work is evident in the service he provides. He is very accommodating, addressing any concerns politely and efficiently. He is an asset to the company.

All good. πŸ‘πŸ» I would hope the salmon fillet could be thicker and the chicken a bigger piece.

Disappointing. I waited half an hour for my food. I ordered at 11:50 AM, but everyone else who ordered later than me received their food before mine, which didn't arrive until after 12:20 PM. I asked for a medium-cooked Sirloin steak, but it came overcooked, closer to medium-well. The portion size was also comparatively smaller than others.

The festive menu Poultry Platter was delicious and more than enough for two people. I loved the darker-colored sausage.

Excellent service by a staff member named Anita. She was helpful and patient, always with a smile. The food was good, and coupled with the great service, I will return.

I went with my wife for lunch. The sambal Gill fish tasted delicious and fresh. Service is excellent. The food arrived quickly. Overall, a great experience.

Came here to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Food was brought to the table, but no cutlery was given. Staff left just like that. After a few minutes of looking for service staff, I finally received the cutlery. The same happened with our drinks; they forgot to serve them. The restaurant was not busy, yet they were unable to deliver good service. This is my daughter's favourite place; every year we celebrate her birthday here. We've been coming here for more than 10 years. I was really disappointed by the lack of service, especially since I paid for it. Kindly fix this issue!

Here's the edited review: A local Western food chain that's been around for 46 years β€” and the main course food has always been consistently bad! Tourists might wonder: How could such a terrible Western restaurant survive this long? Easy β€” either because locals have low expectations when it comes to food… or, rather, because this place isn't really about the mains β€” it's all about the desserts! One look at their menu, filled with waffles, sundaes, and ice cream creations, and you'll realize: this isn't so much a Western restaurant as it is a dessert shop. πŸ₯©Ribeye Steak Completely misrepresented! The green broccoli in the photo was randomly swapped with yellow cauliflower, and the staff didn't even inform us beforehand. Super unprofessional β€” like some careless cross-border e-commerce seller sending the wrong item. The steak itself was tiny, noticeably smaller than what you'd get at Aston's for the same price. Sauce options? Only no sauce, BBQ, sambal, or black pepper β€” no classic mushroom sauce! For anyone who doesn't prefer spicy food, this place is downright hostile β€” even the BBQ sauce had a spicy flavor! The server saw customers had fries but didn't bring ketchup proactively. No condiment bottles on the table either β€” you have to walk over and pump out a tiny serving into a small cup, McDonald's-style. This restaurant charges a service fee! Yet, the food is served by robots. No proper human service at all! πŸ” Beef Patty Burger A straight-up pre-packaged item! Think McDonald's, but two to four times the price. The patty had a clear frozen taste β€” dry, flavorless, with no aroma. Zero joy in every bite. One friend literally gave up halfway because it was so unappetizing. This burger gives new meaning to the phrase 'tastes like cardboard.' 🍲 Mushroom Soup Also a pre-made product! It tastes just like the instant soup powder from the supermarket. If you've ever tried a few supermarket brands, you'll probably guess exactly where they source it from. There's absolutely no reason to pay triple the price to eat this here when you could make the exact same thing at home. And yet, the menu proudly calls it the 'Soup of the Day'! Do the chefs here really understand what Soup of the Day is supposed to mean? Maybe they should go binge-watch Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen and take notes on how he screams at people who mess that up. The dining environment is quite noisy β€” one of the staff members kept pushing around a small cart full of utensils, just strolling through the restaurant! Logically, he should be collecting or setting utensils while pushing the cart, but I watched him circle twice without picking up a single item or setting anything down. He was purely generating the clattering noise of utensils banging together! The sofas in the restaurant are also badly worn out β€” the seats are full of cracks, and they literally scratch your thighs when you sit down! It's unbelievable they haven't been replaced! This place is still in business because of the desserts. Banana boats, waffles with ice cream, chocolate sundaes β€” that's their real focus. So if travelers don't want to be disappointed in the local food scene, just treat this place as a dessert shop. For actual meals? Go literally anywhere else.

We visited Swensens at Tampines Mall with a large family group of 10, looking forward to a sweet treat together. The desserts did not disappoint – they were exceptional! The variety of options catered to both kids and adults, and everyone left with a smile on their face. However, the service could have been better. With a large group, we expected a bit more attention and assistance from the staff. At times, it felt like we were left to manage ourselves. The atmosphere of the restaurant remains the same as I remembered it when I was younger, with great lighting and a spacious dining area. I would still recommend it to others.

I came here and had a good breakfast before work. It was still early, so it wasn't very crowded. The location is great, as it's right at the entrance of the mall. The service crew was an elderly guy; he just dropped the plate with food and left. I was hoping he could say: "Good morning and enjoy your meal!" πŸ˜† Anyway, the place, the tables, and the chairs were clean and arranged neatly, welcoming customers.
