Very friendly staff, especially one of the administrative ladies. She was very patient, explaining the course details to me and bringing me to view their music classrooms.👍
The downside is that they are not on a retail floor, and there is only one escalator at the corner to go up.

Want to get practice paper for grade, but the Tampines Yamaha branch does not sell it.

My son has been with Yamaha Music School since he was 2 years old, in the Apple Class at Tampines Mall. The reason we chose this location is its convenience for us, and the staff and teachers have good communication and relationships with us, providing good guidance to the students in their teaching. We appreciate and thank them for their time and effort. Thank you.

We were disappointed with our experience at the Yamaha Junior Course. From the start, the front desk staff appeared unfriendly and unwelcoming, which did not set a positive tone for the school.
We enrolled our child in the course expecting a consistent and engaging learning experience. However, Teacher Eve frequently took leave, especially during school holidays, and the replacement arrangements were poorly managed. This disrupted the learning flow and made it difficult for our child to stay engaged.
Additionally, the teaching style lacked the interactivity and enthusiasm we expected from a program aimed at young children. There was minimal effort to spark interest or make the lessons fun and educational.
Overall, the staff quality and course delivery did not meet our expectations, and we feel that improvements are urgently needed—both in terms of teacher consistency and creating a more positive, child-friendly environment.

I ordered ice cream milk tea, but they messed up my order and gave me green milk tea instead. Not only did they fail to apologize or offer any discounts, but they also told me in a very rude tone, "Can you just come here?" so I could give them the extra $1.30 for the milk tea. The person who said this was an unappealing-looking female, with medium brown hair, short bangs, and metal glasses, wearing a black mask. Her hair was in a claw clip. What rude service! I expect much better next time. Tampines KOI SUCKS!!

Subject: Disappointing Service Experience at KOI Tampines Mall
Hi KOI Team,
I am writing to share a rather unpleasant experience my family and I had at your Tampines Mall outlet yesterday.
We were attended to by a young lady with glasses who seemed quite impatient while taking our orders. She kept repeating “anything else?” in a rushed tone, which felt a little rude. My sister actually asked if they were rushing, and the staff bluntly replied, “yes.” That really threw us off — it felt like we were being hurried rather than served.
After we placed our order (No. 11), we waited right in front of the counter with our elderly parents. But our number was never called. We just kept seeing others get their drinks while we were left wondering what was going on. Eventually, my son went up to check and found out our drinks had been sitting there all along. The same staff member barely looked at the receipt before handing the bag to my son — no apology, no explanation.
Honestly, we were quite annoyed. It wasn’t just about the wait, but the overall attitude and lack of care. We’ve always enjoyed KOI and the service is usually great, so this experience was really disappointing — especially with my elderly parents sitting and waiting right in front of the counter.
We hope you will take this feedback seriously and look into what happened. Thank you for your time.

Had a very bad experience. Initially wanted to sit there and enjoy my drink from Koi. But this couple just sat there without consuming any product from Koi. And they just took up the seats and treated the place like their house. And they were there for super long.

Zoe was very helpful. We made an order of 80 cups of bubble tea, and she helped us with the ordering process. She even helped to pack everything.

Imagine coming here for a cup of bubble tea to feel better, only to be met with rude service. Desiree from the Tampines Mall KOI outlet was rude and unprofessional, and it makes me not want to buy from KOI at all. It was such a bad experience. She was rushing me when the queue was not long, and I was having difficulty speaking due to my sore throat. Not being considerate is one thing; however, being unprofessional and cutting me off mid-sentence while I was speaking with someone else at the cashier was another. I hope the service here gets better; otherwise, I will not be patronizing, as this is the service and standard you are providing.

Rude staff – a young girl with a ponytail and glasses. It's the exact same rude girl pictured in an earlier review. She displayed her impatience and bad attitude, despite no one else being in the queue other than me. On top of that, she gave me an incorrect straw—a thin one instead of the thicker one required for an aloe vera topping. Please quit if you are not interested in working in the service industry. Don’t let your bad attitude negatively affect the good name of Koi!
