Went to this outlet to re-contract today and was served by one of the best customer representatives I've ever met in Singapore, across all industries: Miss Chen Wen. She was very patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. All my queries were answered and addressed; I was truly blessed to be assisted by her.
The manager named Clarence was very accommodating. She helped me through my order, even though I had many requests. Kudos to KFC for hiring such an employee like her! 👍
My family and I came in at 8 PM on Sunday, June 4, 2025. We wanted to order food to take away and pay by cash. I waited about 10 minutes, but no one was at the counter. We went to the self-checkout kiosk and pressed “Cash,” then proceeded to the counter again, and still no one was there for another 10 minutes. At 8:25 PM, my wife went to the “pick up” counter, saying there was no one at the counter and that we wanted to pay by cash. The staff member working there, wearing a black shirt, said that there had been a sign saying “no cash accepted” at the counter since the morning. I checked, but there was no signage there, and the staff member was pretty rude. This isn't the first time the staff has been rude. Maybe it's standard protocol for KFC staff to be rude to their customers. We don't want free food; we have money. If this is your service, I suggest KFC do a thorough check on the staff's behavior in Tampines Mall and send them for a customer service course. It was bad before, but now it's worse. I expect a reply to this. I have attached the photo, and you may check just in case you say, “No, the customer is so stupid and blind, they can't see.”
Small outlet with limited seating. The restaurant's interior isn't well-lit. Service is average. The place was clean when I visited, though. The food is average; the food items could be hotter, rather than just warm.
The nacho chips were only half-filled when served to the customer... disappointing.
The restaurant is very quiet in the morning. I brought my own container and was glad to find out that they allowed it. The coffee was prepared so fast that I didn't have time to give her my container after ordering. One thing to note is that every KFC outlet seems to be really cold, with the fans at full speed.
Great, friendly, helpful, and efficient staff! The self-service kiosk is very handy for making purchases! Orders are prepared fast, and I didn't have to wait too long! The dining environment is very cozy! They have a separate cashier if you want to pay with cash! Try their cheese fries! You can even order chicken rice!
You would think that buying after 8 PM, after busy hours, the staff wouldn't make big mistakes like forgetting the main item in my takeaway order, but they did. I paid $8 extra for an Ă la carte Double Down burger, which was missing. I made sure to confirm with the staff that my order was complete, and they confirmed it. I am unable to get a refund since this was a self-collect order. My advice to everyone: physically check your order yourself.
Ordered 2 rice buckets. I waited at the cashier for 15 minutes because the order wasn't at the kiosk, and the staff there just ignored me. Then I waited for my food, and this auntie who came 10 minutes after me got hers, while I didn't. I waited a total of 30 minutes for my 2 rice buckets? And when I asked for my order, the staff was unhappy and didn't even apologize for making me wait so long. Really poor service! I'm never coming here again!
I came this morning, and it wasn't crowded. I ordered the hearty brioche platter meal, but my order took more than 25 minutes to arrive because they had forgotten to prepare it. Terrible experience. Isn't KFC supposed to be a fast food chain? It is not serving its food fast enough.
