First time here and I'm already impressed. The staff are super friendly and prompt. They offer free-flow drinks. It's a small, cozy restaurant. Nice for a quick bite, and they cook everything in one pot, like army stew. I will come back again.
Went down to recontract my plan and was asked if I wanted to upgrade to Wi-Fi 7. It seemed like a good deal, except I wasn't told that older devices might not support Wi-Fi 7. Now I've turned off Wi-Fi 7, which means I paid extra for nothing. Beware!
I renewed my broadband contract, which is due on February 1, 2025. However, the technician is only available to install the new router on February 25, 2025. Because the reduced price only takes effect after the installation, I am required to pay a higher price on a prorated basis. This is unfair, as the delay is not caused by me. Starhub should allow customers to continue paying the old charges since there is no change in the package until the new router is installed.
When I went there earlier today, the staff was rude. Luckily, there's another telecom company around the corner and the service was way better. So, I got our line with them instead. Starhub, please work on your customer service. Thank you!
Excellent customer service, from the queue registration facilitator (with hardly any wait) to the sales advisor. A special shout-out to the extremely friendly sales advisor, Rajah, who kindly, patiently, and thoroughly advised me on the pros and cons of different contract renewal plans and gave me his best recommendation. The experience was very pleasant and seamless. I don't usually write non-vegan food reviews, but I had to leave this one and give credit where it's due!
Sales Advisor (Pearl Lim) has changed my impression of customer service at this StarHub outlet. She put a lot of effort into explaining the details of the contract with a bright, warm smile. She is patient, knowledgeable, and courteous. This is the first time I've felt so comfortable as a customer, even though I've come here many times. It's been so long since I've felt the need to write a review, just for her excellent customer service alone.
I visited your outlet on January 13th, 2025, at 12:30 PM. There were two staff members at the front desk: a Malay gentleman and a Chinese lady. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the behavior of the Chinese lady who was attending to customers.
While I understand that situations may arise where another customer is prioritized, I found her conduct unprofessional. She walked past me without offering any explanation, guidance, or assistance, leaving me standing there unsure of what to do. Basic courtesy and clear communication are critical in customer service, and unfortunately, her actions fell short of these expectations.
This kind of behavior tarnishes StarHub’s reputation and reflects poorly on your commitment to providing excellent service. I strongly urge you to address this matter and ensure that your frontline staff are trained to handle customers with professionalism, courtesy, and respect.
Good - Queue registration staff and nearby staff were generally helpful.
Not good - Today, the staff member who served #1160 only spoke two words to me: "Call 1633." I explained that I had already called seven times (with no answer) and sent three emails (with no reply) regarding a bill dispute, but he repeated, "Call 1633." I waited an hour for him to say two words.
I will be switching telecommunications providers to another company for sure.
The lady who served us was very helpful and professional. She took the time to explain the package to us. A big thumbs up to Ms. Jarlett from the Tampines Branch. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
Went down today, February 7th, at 1605 hours to the Starhub Tampines Mall branch to reconnect our mobile and broadband services. We were served at counter 1, and the male staff was very helpful and friendly. We didn't remember his name, though.
