I like the new renovation; the place seems brighter, and the portions of food are larger, which I appreciate. It's a comfortable place to dine in. Rina and the Tampines team provide such excellent service to every customer. I would definitely come here again!

This is a pretty small Toys "R" Us. It’s sufficient if you are looking for regular toys. If you are looking for more hard-to-find toys, you may want to venture to other Toys "R" Us locations. The queue for the cashier is long and slow, as usual. I find that this is always the case, no matter which Toys "R" Us you go to. Staff are polite, but it seems like the shop usually operates with a skeletal staff. I do find that a customer will need to get the Star Card for more discounts, as it gives cash back to offset purchases. Star Card members are also entitled to special member buys. Overall, it’s a pleasant shopping experience at this Toys "R" Us.

Visited and got a 20% discount on LEGO. The staff were friendly, and we did a lucky draw at the outlet, winning a nice microscope! Thank you! I will revisit for the kids' Christmas presents! 🎁

There's a wide variety of toys (mostly indoor, with a few outdoor options like tricycles) for children under 10 years old. It's a great place for kids' birthday gifts. However, there are limited options for outdoor sports activities.

I had an excellent experience at Toys R Us (Tampines Mall) thanks to Ms. Su (staff ID: 42047229). I was looking for a "kids camera-pink," but it wasn't on the shelves. Despite being busy, Ms. Su went out of her way to help me. She checked the store's stock and even contacted other outlets to locate the product. I was in a rush with Christmas just around the corner, and she fully understood the urgency. She not only found a store with the camera in stock but also issued me a collection ticket, ensuring I could pick it up in time for Christmas. I truly appreciate her kindness and dedication to providing exceptional customer service. She was incredibly helpful, and her efforts made my holiday shopping much less stressful. Thank you, Ms. Su!

We were at Toys R Us yesterday, September 3, 2025, a Friday, to buy toys as a birthday gift for our niece. We paid for the purchase but were disappointed that there was no gift-wrapping service. So, we asked for wrapping paper to wrap the gift ourselves. We were also looking for tape, but found none and requested some from a staff member. We received another disappointing reply: "We do not have any to spare." As we were going straight to the birthday party after buying the toys, we didn't have a chance to give a wrapped gift. Lesson learned: we will not do any last-minute shopping for gifts at Toys R Us.

This is one of its many chains here on the East side. Though not as big compared to other branches, it does offer toys and games for all age groups, with a wide array of different games and the latest releases/hottest items. If you are buying for yourself or as a gift, it's quite easy to find something suitable. They also provide free gift wrapping 🎁

I've had repeated issues at the Toys 'R' Us in Tampines Mall regarding incorrect price tags. This is the third time I've encountered price discrepancies, where the displayed price is lower than the charged price. Despite pointing this out, I was told I had to pay the full retail price. It's disappointing to see the price tags not updated, and the staff unwilling to honor the displayed price. I hope the store improves its practices and provides a better experience for customers moving forward. They didn't want to sell me the item at $24.49 but insisted on selling it to me at $31.49, even though the displayed price was shown repeatedly, both at the top and bottom of the item.

Came to this branch on a Sunday afternoon, and it was relatively crowded. This outlet is smaller than others I've visited. It seemed understaffed; I was there to purchase two well-known, patented toys, but I couldn't find them in the relevant sections, and no staff were available to assist. The cashier was overwhelmed with customers, and I didn't want to intrude. It looks like I'll be purchasing my items on Amazon. I'm very disappointed, as I have been a regular Toys "R" Us patron since the early 90s.
