The food was good and served within 10 minutes. Their Aglio Olio linguine was well-cooked, and the cheese stick was hot and crispy. Overall, it was a good experience, and this restaurant is family-friendly since they have a long table that can cater for big groups.

I like the new renovation; the place seems brighter, and the food portions are larger, which I like. It's a comfortable place to dine in. Rina and the Tampines team provide such excellent service to every customer. Would definitely come here again!

Din Tai Fung has served the worst fried rice I have ever eaten. Worst of all, it's expensive, and it tastes like a fried rice I would eat in a convenience food chain eatery. To pay around $13 SGD for a simple egg fried rice is insane. First, it tasted like they added a lot of preservatives and additives to entice customers to like the fried rice, but it certainly didn't appeal to me. The eggs were not scrambled properly; they were undercooked, and I could taste some rawness in some of the egg whites and yolks, as they were not cooked evenly or long enough. The rice was not very good quality, as the grains weren't very visible. It tasted very over-seasoned and too savoury for my liking. Far too much soy sauce was added, which I could taste, as well as salt and other seasonings to flavour the rice. Third, it's a shame because they use overnight rice to cook it, but they did it an injustice by adding so many seasonings and not enough fresh ingredients, so it doesn't taste flavoursome in a good way. They could have used sea salt or rock salt instead of table salt to enhance the dish, and cooked it with more eggs. The amount of eggs they gave was too little for a well-balanced and good egg fried rice. Fourth, they could have cooked the eggs with the fried rice and mixed them together to make a very nice and delicious egg fried rice. They could have also added eggs, scrambled them, and then cooked them with the rice. They had so much potential, and yet they failed, especially with their shrimp fried rice. Their shrimp fried rice is even worse; I tried it at Junction 8 a while back. Don't buy it. They use frozen, farmed prawns in a package and sell it for around $18 SGD. Do not waste your money buying overpriced and distasteful fried rice here when you can eat much nicer and much better-priced fried rice elsewhere. Putien is 1,000,000,000,000x better than them at fried rice and other dishes, and many other places cook much better fried rice than Din Tai Fung. I wouldn't come back.

My family of three has been here since day one. The Din Tai Fung manager knows us. We love this place because it has a family-oriented culture. They will always greet you, no matter how busy they are. Service is better than SIA cabin service 😂.

I want to take this chance to thank Charles from the DTF Customer Care Department. I wrote in to make a special request as my families had a gathering to discuss important wedding matters. So he called me personally to accommodate, and I am grateful for DTF's service for this.
The food is good as always; however, drinks could be served faster. Overall, it was still a great experience, and I will recommend coming during off-peak times if you want to avoid crowds or a wait.

It had been quite a while since our last visit to Din Tai Fung. So, we ordered some of their signature dishes: the pork "xiaolongbao" (steamed soup-infused dumplings), braised beef noodles, shrimp wonton noodles, pork chop noodles, bean-curd vermicelli (soup), shrimp fried rice, vegetable buns, nai-bai (milk cabbage), and duck spring rolls.
Our food items were generally wonderfully scrumptious and enjoyable; the dishes were suitably flavored and mostly lightly salted, using less oil.
The exception was the Shanghainese bean-curd vermicelli, which was a let-down as the main ingredients felt skimpy and it tasted rather bland overall.
However, there is truly a wide variety and choice on the menu.
Staff were attentive and helpful, highly responsive to our needs.
While not completely full during our visit, the restaurant ambiance was rather noisy, and some of the staff seemed somewhat harried.

Overall, the service was efficient, and the auto-queuing process via QR scan was effective. Their Christmas item was Mama Mochi Chocolate Xiao Long Bao. The service staff reminded us that it's served hot and to be careful. However, my family bit into it, with the fluid chocolate squirting out, fortunately onto the table and not onto our clothes. So, this is a reminder to those eating these chocolate-filled dumplings 😅. Otherwise, the food we ordered was satisfactory.

Usual, consistent food quality and service. The only problem was the long wait, but I guess that's what one has to do for good food 😅. The queueing system and update are one of the best I have encountered! The beef noodles are really good, and they use good quality meat. The fried rice with pork chop and xiao long bao were very consistent as well. 👍🏼 A very good meal! 👍🏼

Our first dine-in at this branch. We loved their service because all their staff were very attentive to customers, and the cashier, who was pregnant, was so kind and nice to teach me how to use the CapitaLand mall app. She even taught me how to take a photo of the receipt to submit through the app to secure more reward points! That was really impressive, and we would definitely come back for another meal soon. Food was freshly prepared, and we loved their pea sprouts fried with shredded pork, as it was surprisingly light and appetising. It was far from being oily, contrary to our initial imagination when we noted that it was fried with pork. However, we didn't find the xiao long bao as palatable and succulent. On the whole, it was still a sumptuous late lunch! We would definitely check in one day to try the fried rice with pork cutlet. Thanks!

Horrible. No customers, yet I still had to wait nearly 30 minutes to get my takeaway order! It was a known break time, but shouldn't they be taking turns? It can't be that all the chefs went for makan! And I only ordered fried rice — just one packet!
