Came to the store at 5pm on 14 June 2025 following a friend’s recommendation and I needed to buy a new pair of shoes.
There were 4 potential customers, one male staff and one female staff. Throughout the duration of my visit, the male staff did not approach any of us to assist, instead was people watching from the front of the cashier. The female staff did not seem to understand what I was initially looking for, and was just recommending the new arrivals to me, even though my size was unavailable. When I indicated interest in one of the pair that was not my size, she did not follow up on recommending similar models and left it as that. When I asked her about the brand of the second pair she recommended as I was unfamiliar with the logo, she herself did not know what brand it was. I ended up not buying since it’s clearly not my size and I didn’t have any other models to compare it to. Was disappointed as I was hoping for some professional opinions on the shoes available. You’re better off looking for reviews online.

I've been to this branch twice in 3 weeks, and each time I was served by a different staff. What they both have in common is a lack of enthusiasm, lack of communication, and just poor attitude overall. They didn't look happy to be assisting me, especially when I asked for different sizes. When I was looking at various models, they didn't ask if I needed assistance. There were no suggestions on types of shoes suitable for my feet as I looked at various models. Just very passive and unfriendly customer service. Years ago, I went to a Running Lab outlet where the service staff did the exact opposite of the Tampines staff. So I'm surprised at what I encountered at the Tampines outlet. The only reason why this review gets 3 stars is the range of shoe models and sizes.

3 days ago I went to the shop to get myself fitted for a new running shoe. I'm a heavy guy and wanted some expert advise on the type of shoe I should get to start a healthier lifestyle.
After the staff measured my feet, he pointed out the Hoka Bondi 8. Having trust in their expertise, I bought them after trying them on.
I used the shoe for a 10 min walk the next day and realised a blister on the back of my feet. However I didn't feel pain when wearing the shoes so I thought it couldn't be the cause.
Next day, I go for a 30min run in the morning and notice the blister swelling.. but still no pain.. so to confirm I went for a 8km walk in the evening and confirmed the shoe was the cause.
When I called up the shop, they told me I needed the box to do a exchange. However, having trusted in them, I threw away the box the moment I took out my shoes guess the box cost me $200.
Anyway, I hope you guys understand they are just a shoe shop and have no expertise to fit you properly. I hope my $200 save you some so it makes it all the better. Cheers.
Ps: last 3 shoes from ASICS boutique and they fitted me perfectly. Never going back here again. Back to ASICS for my next pair!

Saw the reviews here that Eric was really helpful, and went there to witness myself. He let me tried on different shoes before measuring my feet and realising that my feet were of different sizes. After I told him that I really wanted to get the Asics Novablast but just that there isn’t slightly bigger size, he helped me to arrange for a reservation with another store.
