Bought garlic bread from Four Leaves, and did you know they actually bundle a game with their bread? The game is called "Where's the Garlic?"
This is an excellent game where you pull away the individual pieces of bread and try to find where they hid the garlic. If your eyesight isn't perfect, you'll probably need to use a magnifying glass to find the yellow garlic bits because they're so good at hiding it. My whole family had countless hours of fun playing this game.

“I recently visited this shop and was disappointed by the staff’s attitude (an old lady wearing spectacles), which came across as unwelcoming and indifferent. She seemed disinterested in assisting customers. This incident wasn’t the first time. Somehow, my kids like this brand, and we've bought a lot from many other branches. However, only this branch doesn't treat customers well. On several occasions, when our children pointed at items in the bakery they wanted to buy, this old lady would run over and shout at my children: 'Hey, hey, hey! Be careful, don’t touch the bread!' This action was so rude that it made me feel very uneasy. For the first few times, I excused her behavior due to her age, so I did not mention anything. But after a few more visits, the same thing happened, and I couldn’t take this type of attitude anymore. I started to question her about why she kept shouting at customers not to touch the bread. You cannot display breads in a showcase and then expect customers to be afraid to touch them. If that's the case, you might as well keep all your bread, not sell it, and not showcase it to customers. Respecting you as a union personnel doesn't mean you can treat customers with such attitude, which made the experience feel less than pleasant. Unfortunately, based on this, I wouldn’t recommend this shop to others.”
Remember the words: it takes years for customers to visit your shop to buy your products, but it takes a few seconds to destroy the trust between your shop and its customers.

I told the staff that I'd like to make payment for a whole cake and come back to collect it later, as I was rushing to run a few errands. There was only one customer halfway through their transaction, and I stood on his right, waiting for my turn. After which, the cashier attended to a lady customer who came after me and stood on the earlier customer’s left (I was on his right). I told myself, 'It’s okay. Let one person cut my queue.' Subsequently, the cashier did it to me again by attending to another customer.
I spoke up and told her nicely, 'I’ve been here waiting to make payment, but you allowed two people to cut my queue.' She replied, 'I know, but the queue is on the other side.' Shouldn’t she have the courtesy to at least inform me if I was standing at the wrong place? She still had the cheek to reply, 'I KNOW!' So if I didn’t ask, was she going to allow everyone to go before me?
I asked to speak to her manager, but she told me there was no manager. I asked for her name, but she kept quiet.
Cashier CHEONG LAY HONG, I still managed to get your name from your colleague, who seemed apologetic. The receipt given also stated your name clearly.

No problem with the bread and cakes, but the service from the counter staff (the old lady) is very rude.

I stood next to the shop and witnessed this. One aunty staff member had her right hand gloved, but her left hand was bare, as she arranged the bread in the display shelves. The gloved right hand was supposedly for handling food, while the ungloved left hand was for handling non-food items. She opened the display shelf doors with her gloved right hand, arranged each bread, closed it, then opened the next one, arranged, and closed it, repeating this cycle. Imagine how many customers' hands have been opening and closing these doors while choosing bread. This aunty staff member is effectively adding germs to all the bread.

Four Leaves bakery, nestled in the bustling basement of a popular mall, is a carb-lover's paradise. The shop exudes warmth and the aroma of freshly baked goods. Patrons rave about their signature Sio Pan—a must-try for any visitor. Additionally, their steamed cakes come in an array of delightful flavors, each fluffy and perfectly moist. This hidden gem offers quality treats that keep customers coming back for more.

Their cakes are worth it for your celebration.
I've been patronising this bakery for years.
Their cakes and bread are very affordable and of great quality.
No wonder there's always a long queue in store.

My takeaway experiences were on June 18, 2021 (during Post Circuit Breaker Phase 3 - Heightened Alert) and April 29, 2020 (during the SG circuit breaker).
4 stars.
I love the Anpan (red bean sweet rolls), chocolate brownie, and golden scones from Four Leaves.
I also like their strawberry shortcake and Chocolate Classico cake. Quality of cakes varies from time to time, though.
Prices have gone up over the years. Staff are friendly.
There's usually a queue at this store due to the crowds in Tampines.
