The seat is very uncomfortable and narrow. Getting backache while sitting throughtout the end of the show. The seat cushion is flat, really feeling very uncomfortable. Hopefully the management can look into this issues and wish it can be improved.
Thank you.

Been patronising GV Tampines from time to time over the past decade, and I'm grateful for the satisfactory customer service here. However, legroom continues to be an issue here for me across the halls. Popcorn quality, however, has also gone down. I recall liking the popcorn here best when compared to other GV cinema halls but it is no longer the case...

The seats were so uncomfortable, even OTH seats are much more comfortable. The seats have no proper support. The screen were also not the best clear screen, some low light movie in dark areas were basically too dark to see anything. Lady Staff at the popcorn station was so rude when ask what are the promo available. Haven't been so unhappy watching a movie before. Other than the show is nice, nothing else I like about gv tamp. I will suggest to go century square or tamp hub to watch show, much better and higher comfort!

Nice service, clean and good. But definitely got ripped off for food. Plus I really hate it they don’t have a normal set for drink and popcorn then overcharged to make us buy useless shit like the Snow White tumbler. Please be more environmentally considerate and stop consumerism.

I don't want to give even one star. I spent 80 SGD but didn't get to see the movie. It was a very bad experience. My good mood for the weekend was ruined by this Indian staff. I will never come to this place again. Everyone, stay away!

Seats are very uncomfortable to sit on, maybe it's too old already.
I went last time it was fine. Now it's very hard to sit down for too long. Changed seats still same.
The air inside also seems very stuffy/dusty. I'm asthmatic I could feel there's a lot of dust maybe in the carpet or the chairs.
It was also very warm, Aircon didn't seem to be working properly. Hall 4.
Payment by card for promotions requires the physical card. Not everyone carries physical cards these days, it's all on e wallets. This was a bad experience.

Popcorn is good. Large popcorn seems to be regular size. Not sure what regular popcorn looks like. Seats are hard and narrow, cramped like in the bus. If u r coming for late shows and park at century square, most exit/entrances are locked except via the macdonald.

GV may be the king of cinemas in Singapore only because others are closing, but it clearly does not deserve that title. I watched a movie in Hall 1, and the seat was so uncomfortable, I started feeling pain in my back and butt after just 25 minutes. It felt like sitting on a flat wooden board.
The company is clearly doing well, and ticket prices keep increasing, yet the seats have not been improved for years. How long more do we need to wait for proper upgrades? It is honestly disappointing that Cathay had to close, while GV continues to run with such poor standards. I really wish it was the other way around.

GV Tampines screen quality is really bad for my recent experience. I watch a lot of movies in cinemas in Singapore, and am shocked at how dark and bad the picture quality is at Hall 4. Watched Jurassic World Rebirth and the visuals were dark and not sharp. Read online that the movie visuals were supposed to be outstanding but I did not get that from my experience. Please avoid this cinema hall in future.

Watched Karate Kid: Legends here. Seats in Hall 8 were sunken and not padded. Service staff were friendly but cinema is quite dated.

According to a company release, after 19 years of providing movie showing in the East, Golden Village Tampines reopens following a short hiatus on Monday, 20th April 2015. The revamped cinema now boasts a sleek new interior, an auto-gate system and automated ticketing kiosks, giving patrons a quicker cinematic experience from the very moment they step into the cinema.
All eight halls in Golden Village Tampines now come equipped with ProBax® seats. The ProBax® seat is the seat of choice for Golden Village as it ensures patrons enjoy prolonged comfort and improved posture.
Recommended to have in future for GV cinema, a wider and extended seats as it feels cramped and squeezy, and often long hours patrons will feel extremely uncomfortable.

Gotta give a shout-out to GV Tampines for the many years it has been around to screen blockbusters and indie flicks alike.
Frequently visited by youths and families, the cinema halls here are relatively clean and equipped with large screens with good sound systems. Staff handing the ticket and snack counters are also friendly and patient, which adds to a pleasant movie-going experience.

The cinema is clean, with facilities to bin litter. Proper signages are displayed for patrons.
Snacks can be purchased online and redeemed at the Cinema Hall or can also be purchased on site.
The cinema has vending machines conveniently placed for that additional snack.
Air-conditioning was really good and the place was clean.
The customer service staff though were not exactly friendly especially the gentleman manning the gate. He seemed indifferent and did not bother to say "welcome" nor bothered to acknowledge my "thank you"

Note that COVID measures don't allow more than 2 people sit together for now, which is a problem for groups, but mandated by govt I'm assuming. Good thing is that it's not crowded these days.
Sound is good. Seats are clean and comfortable.
Chicken nuggets were not crisp, I wouldn't recommend.

Good place very comfortable has 6-8 Cinemas do expect queues on First show but otherwise its pretty smooth staff is very friendly best part is they have all the food items available. Kids friendly, we love watching movies here majority of the times. Cinemas are always clean and staff is always alert and there to help, we recently watched inside out such a beautiful movie will make you cry if you haven’t watched inside out 1 watch it first then 2. You will love it such a beautiful family movie.

Large sweet popcorn cost $6.80 at Suntec City gold class 2-3 weeks ago but large sweet popcorn cost $8 at the Tampines outlet. We ordered sweet popcorn but the popcorn doesnt taste sweet, very different taste from the yummy sweet popcorn we bought from the Suntec City gold class. 🥲🥲🥲 watched garfield movie on 21 may 2024, feel so touched so I cried a bit. 😌😌😌
