Owing to sudden job relocation, we had to leave Singapore unexpectedly. This cannot be an unusual event in a country with so many expats. MyRepublic were very unhelpful and unsympathetic with us having to close our account. They offered no guidance or assistance in options to transfer ownership; when we attempted to do this ourselves, they made it so difficult, the other party withdrew and we are left with paying for the remaining 18 months even though we will leave and new tenants will have their own network. So they have cost us money, time and effort as well as having appalling customer service. They have not responded to my emails or made any conciliatory gesture. Do not sign up with them!
I give them no stars for this review but had to put one to be able to post.

Worst service I have ever seen. Wifi down for almost 4 days and no communication as to what is causing the outage and how long it is estimated to still be out.
By far the worst internet company. Avoid at all costs.

If you are considering MyRepublic, I urge you to consider another internet provider please

Be wary of the sign up process in the shop. The agent wanted the customer to key in credit card details with the CVS code into his laptop without first presenting the alternative of scanning QR code to complete the payment on the customer's phone. And tried to play dumb when asked to clear out cookies on SingPass url after logging in to the agent laptop for retrieving SingPass MyInfo. Very sus.

Be careful of this telco. Sends debt collector firm after you without checking if you’ve actually paid your bills. Turned out I overpaid and they had to process a refund when they sent a debt collector after me in the first place.

1.my relocation from Banda street to Tempines Street 42. My wife pay for the relocate the open net.
But went the my republic relocate my fiber boardband to Tempines they collect the relocate fiber boardband and open net money also.
I called my republic and asked them about the open net where are they charging it, as my wife already paid to the open net money. Then my republic agreed to deduct it from my monthly bill payment but it also never totally deduct the monthly bill payment as the amount that my wife paid for the open net.
Now my contract with my republic is expired 0n the 17 July 2024. At 16 July the republic stuff came to my house and I have returned all the items back to my republic but until now is going to end of September and I still haven't receive my deposit money back.

Beware of poor service from myrepublic Singapore
Made the mistake of renewing my home fibre boardband with them and suffering from intermittent internet disruption every few months
Their customer service system is horrible. No support after 6pm and on weekends. Have to keep repeating authentication when the chat in app log me out automatically. Phone hotline has very long wait, took about average 2 hr to resolve the same recurring issue i had.
