Was at the Tampines Mall outlet for the Hi-tea buffet. The buffet food settings were cozy, with a small home party feel, no frills. Food was refilled at a reasonable speed. They served bamboo shoots, braised 豆干, green & red pepper fried with pork belly, fried cauliflower, fried 山药 with a small amount of black fungus, fried cabbage, fried rice, porridge, and signature white Bee Hoon. The dishes were tasty. The initial servings of the green pepper dish had pork belly, but subsequent servings only had the greens. The signature white Bee Hoon was similar; initially, there was shredded pork, green veggies, and 豆干, but subsequent servings were just plain white Bee Hoon. Dessert was 莲子木耳羹, but there was no 莲子. We were quite disappointed, especially since we were there for their signature white Bee Hoon. It seemed more like a vegetarian meal. There wasn't a single meat dish. For me, I found it not worth $19.80/pax.

I was disappointed with both the food quality and the service provided. The quality of the food was not up to expectations. Several dishes lacked flavor, and some appeared overcooked or poorly prepared. Additionally, many items ran out quickly without being replenished, leaving limited options for guests. There was also a noticeable lack of variety in the buffet, and I felt the selection was quite limited compared to what I had anticipated.
Moreover, the service did not meet the standard I expected. Staff were not as attentive as needed, and it took longer than expected to get assistance or for certain food items to be restocked.

It was very unfortunate that the "pen cai" we ordered for our reunion dinner this year was disappointing.
We had always ordered from Putien yearly.
This year, the ingredients were not fresh at all. The mushroom was sour, and the abalone was hard. It made me wonder if the mushrooms had actually gone bad. Also, the prawns were not fresh.
I hope something can be done, or we might not repurchase in the future. For the price we paid, I feel we deserve something that justifies the quality.

This is one of my favorite restaurants, but the 3-5 PM buffet is a total disappointment.
The buffet setup is very small, with not much variety in terms of food choices. Too bad they don't have my favorite sweet and sour pork.

The food we ordered was good and tasty, up to expectation.
The staff was friendly and not pushy.
We ordered soup, Hokkien-style lor mee, fried vegetables, and crispy fried chicken.
The price was reasonable.

The dining experience was absolutely amazing! The food was so authentic Fujian, and the service was top-notch.
Here are some of my favorite dishes:
* Sweet & Sour Deep Fried Fish - It was so tasty!
* Heng Hwa Bee Hoon - A must-try!
* Heng Hwa Lor Mee - The noodles were so chewy and delicious.
* Lychee Sweet & Sour Pork - The sweetness of the lychees paired perfectly with the pork.
* Stir Fried Kai Lan with Beancurd Skin - The stir-fry was so flavorful, and the beancurd skin added a unique flavor.
* Deep Fried Yam - The yam was so crispy and delicious.

Came here for the second time. There are many delicious dishes. I ordered their signature Lor Mee, shredded pork with bun, fried eggplant with pork floss, and spinach soup with eggs. The chili is also very yummy.
All are strongly recommended.
Service is excellent, and food is served within 10 minutes, except for the Lor Mee.
The ambiance is great.
A very positive point is that there's NO GST and service charge, which can save you quite a bit. The prices have also remained unchanged since last year.

- Weekday dinner, no reservations required for 5 people.
- Deep-fried eggplant with pork floss and sweet and sour pork were good; highly recommended, 10/10.
- Nice seating area.
- Service was fantastic. The server patiently explained dish portions and ingredients and asked if we had any food allergies. They also helped portion out the cabbage rice.
- Credit cards accepted.
- Gave us free Putien tote bags.
- Will definitely return!
