The lunch crowd made this place very noisy. If you prefer quiet, it's better to go to a restaurant instead of the food court. The selection of food stalls was okay for me.

The food is okay, but the atmosphere is terrible. The food court tables are always dirty (it's not the cleaner's fault; they are always busy and need more staff!). They should have long tables for single-person seating so they don't waste table resources.

I ordered chendol from the dessert stall at Kopi Tiam in Tampines Mall today at 1 PM. The lady at the stall told me to wait because she wanted to prepare the other desserts. While waiting, another customer arrived, and she ignored me and served the other customer. When I got angry, she shouted at me instead of apologizing.

The staff at this particular stall have a very bad attitude and provide poor service. They are always scolding customers and often have a long, unfriendly expression, especially the two female staff members.

Late lunch with family on 05/01/2024 Xi’An Cuisine 西安印象 at Tampines Mall Level 4 Kopitiam Orders: Xi’An Signature Biang Biang Noodles at $6.80, Xi’An Cold Noodles at $5.00, 6 pieces of Steamed Pork Dumplings at $6.50, 6 pieces of Fried Pork Dumplings at $7.80, and 5 pieces of beef sticks at $6.80 Verdict: 7/10 Comments: The signature noodles are nice but salty. The cold noodles are not bad. The steamed pork dumplings are not that nice, as I could taste the flour in the skin. The fried pork dumplings taste too porky but are otherwise fine, and the beef sticks are too salty, even though they are tasty. There are plenty of seats, but most tables are dirty. The drinks stall has a super long queue, and the fruits stall is closed.

"I've been here many times after a night of shopping in Tampines Mall. There are lots of cuisine options and it's vastly cheaper than any of the mall restaurants. My only complaint is that it's so popular that it's hard to find a table at peak times (lunch/dinner), and it can get pretty loud."

I normally don't post about meals from food courts, but this stall deserves a mention. Generous serving of fish slices, and fresh too.

I like the Thai food and halal chicken rice stalls, which are at the two corners by the entrance. The food portions are very generous and yummy. Though it's always crowded and very hard to find seats during mealtimes.

It's a good place to get your meals, except it can be difficult to get a table during mealtimes (so it's best to arrive early). The tables can also be dirty, so you may need to bring your own wet wipes to clean them. Otherwise, the family loves the Michelin-starred Nasi Padang stall and would travel to Tampines Mall for it. There's usually a queue at this stall, but service is fast, so the wait isn't usually long.
