Donkey and I were at Tampines Hub for lunch, but a sweet craving for donuts led us to J.Co Donuts & Coffee at Tampines Mall. We've tried J.Co before in Malaysia and know they make good donuts, so we were excited to try their Singapore outlet.
However, our visit wasn't without challenges. The cafe was quite busy, with many customers using laptops and occupying tables for extended periods. Finding a seat was a challenge, and it felt a bit crowded overall. The seating was comfortable, with large windows offering a view of the outside scene.
The staff was inconsistent. While one staff member was helpful and friendly in assisting us with seating and our bikes, others, like the cashier and another staff member, were less welcoming.
We took advantage of their promotion for a drink and two donuts, opting for the Iced Jcoccino with Fresh Milk and two delicious donuts, excluding the red velvet. The coffee was refreshing and flavorful, and the donuts were fantastic. However, the lackluster air conditioning made the cafe feel stuffy; it wasn't as cold as the air conditioning within the shopping mall.
While the donuts and coffee were nice, the overall experience was hampered by the inconsistent service and weak air conditioning.

I wanted to give only 1 star, but I decided to give 2 stars as an effort for making the drink.
I am a regular customer at Jco Tampines Mall (either buying Oreo frappes, donuts, or both).
A few days ago, I ordered an Oreo frappe WITH WHIPPED CREAM at the cashier.
Then, the barista asked again if the customer wanted whipped cream or not, and the cashier answered him, saying the customer wanted it WITH WHIPPED CREAM.
However, I was surprised that the barista made the Oreo frappe WITHOUT WHIPPED CREAM, despite confirming with the cashier.

It was my mistake to try their layered cake... I should have stopped there, but I was tired. I wanted their sandwiches, but they told me they were out. It was around 4 pm, so I suppose that's understandable.
Just get the donut or whatever. Their layer cake slice is thinner than my patience.

"First time ordering from JCO, but the person making the coffee didn't fill the $7.40 Frappe to the brim. They should also check the order before sending it out. Maybe they need to get their eyes checked.
Also, to the person managing the Instagram page, acknowledging the mistake and offering an apology would be sufficient instead of ignoring it. It seems like your page only features the good reviews, ignoring the bad ones.
I hope not everyone seeing this review has a bad experience with JCO. But as a first-timer, it was a really terrible experience. I will never order from JCO again."

We were doing our weekly grocery shopping and stopped here for a tea break. Since it was a Sunday, the mall was crowded, and this place was, too. It was full inside, with another queue forming to order food. But we were lucky; the diners at a table had just left, so we quickly took it.
The cafe had a nice and cozy ambiance, which I liked. The sofa seats were also comfortable.
In terms of food, we ordered the iced coffee, which was flavorful and nice. The donuts were okay; I found them a little too sweet, but if you have a sweet tooth, they might be good for you. I liked the pandan flavor, while my family members preferred the chocolate ones.
Service was a little too slow and disorganized. Both ordering and collecting ordered items were done in the same queue, which may explain why the line was constantly so long. However, staff were efficient in clearing used tables.
Considering the quality of the food and the ambiance, it's good value for money! I'd give it a 3.5 rating, but since I can't give a half-star, I'll give it a 3.
