I came to dine with my wife and infant child and the staff were accommodating to seat us at the counter so we could have the baby pram close to us.
Up front, you can see the sushi chefs and I can say they take pride in their work. The food was pretty good also, with the beef and chawanmushi quite delectable.
Unfortunately with competition from other sushi outlets nearby, I have to say Itacho Sushi's price is not as competitive as others.
But overall I had a good dining experience, keep it up.

The food is delicious and well presented. See the attach picture of these two dishes, ain't they are a delight to look at? The sushi with crispy toppings is a nice touch to the taste buds as well. I can see that the chef here takes lots of pride to deliver dishes that delights both to your sights and taste sensation. Maybe that's the reason of slightly longer waiting time that usual Japanese restaurant?

Okay at a pinch. This was our first visit to the Tampines store, as they were one of the few eateries that were open at 11 am.
Not that the food was bad - the sushi was fresh - but that the items tasted 'heavy' as compared to Genki Sushi or Sushi Teh, as in the sauces etc.
The deep fried pork in the udon dish was just okay, and could have used some mustard, while the roasted black pepper wagyu beef don was bland.
We liked the roasted cod fish and the squid sushi.

My favourite sushi restaurant! Prices are reasonable and the food is nice. Given the option I will certainly choose to dine at Itacho sushi over any other Japanese restaurants.
One of my favourite sushi there is the Kagoshima Waygu sushi. The taste Is heavenly! The meat literally melts in your mouth. It’s a little pricey though, at almost $10 a piece. So I usually order just 1 or 2 pieces.
Other dishes i will recommend is their Sea Urchin warship; it’s pretty pricey though at around $13 a piece.
highly recommended is their Foie Gras sushi, chawamushi, clams, cold green tea
soba and fatty salmon sashimi, i would say most of their other dishes are just as tasty.

Food is great, service was lacking though, waited outside the store for a good 5 minutes before I was taken care of. Service staff also looked unhappy.

Did a dollar for dollar comparison with another similar restaurant in the same building and found this place cheaper with better food.

(Dec 2023) Orders can now be done via web browser. Food preparation could be slow as staff mentioned it takes 25 minutes.
(Oct 2020) Service could be better. The food portion (i.e. dons) seems to have shrunk. Installing and ordering through their mobile app seems to be mandatory nowadays. Would be better if I can order through the web browser.

Affordable and delicious Japanese food. Wasn’t crowded when I went there but it was probably after lunch hours. Lots of promotion happening and a wide variety to choose from. Had a great afternoon just catching up with friends over a good meal and green tea. I think they don’t charge for tea so that is great too 👍🏻 …

Came over for lunch in the Tampines mall. It has been a while since here and to my disappointment, it's a bad decision. Ordered their seasonal food, seasonal seafood don, their sea urchin steamed egg, fatty tuna belly row and Roasted abalone with salmon roe with sea urchin mini rice. Firstly, food portion was too small, price point was high, taste were just ordinary....in fact average fast food standards. Next, cook prepared my don with missing ingredients and was highlighted by me. They added the missing fish and apologized so I forgave them. Service was professional and efficient. Ambience was acceptable and not good for large crowds. Overall a below par dining experience. Also to note, their super affordable price dishes were all not available, hence only serving the more expensive premium or seasonal items.

The place is not crowded and the food are reasonably priced & nice to eat 🤭
Staff are friendly and quick to response in terms of taking order as well as food serving 😊
Will be back when I go Tampines Mall next time.
