Been here many times over at the Tampines branch. Portions are definitely getting smaller and the skill in wrapping the sushi rice can be improved. Overall the quality of the food is still good and the price reasonable! Great when It's during the lull time like having a late lunch or early dinner. Free wifi, great K-pop ballads in the background. Staff have more time to be attentive and friendlier. I will still return to this outlet time and again. #japanesefood #sushi

itacho sushi is not too bad for a japanese restaurant and definitely above average to japanese restaurants specifically in malls. and way better than ichiban boshi. overall the food is not too bad but its kind of overpriced. the chawanmushi was okay, but the taste of the crab meat on top kind of overpowered the egg custard on top which was sad, as the egg tasted not too bad. the udon was okay and so was the soup. the tempura was breaded nicely and seasoned and cooked beautifully, very tasty especially the orange sweet potato tempura was bomb. the prawn tempura was kind of nice too, the prawns were fresh and i could taste it was cooked with care along with the tempura vegetables. the assorted platter sushi was not bad too, really enjoyed the seafood sushis especially. the tamago sushi was quite nice, egg came through and flavour was pretty present and best part is, it wasn't too sweet. i wouldn't mind coming back again, very open to it but definitely will need to watch my balance and my savings as its kind of pricey for a mall setup especially.

The restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience with generally delicious food and a pleasant ambience. However, I did notice a issue with the sweet shrimp on the premium chirashi don, as it was a bit fishy and not as fresh as expected.
Despite this flaw, I would highly recommend trying the roasted cod fish sushi. Its rich flavor and perfectly balanced seasoning make it a standout dish that you won't want to miss.

Lousy customer service, incompetent staff and the food isn't value for money - not for the crazy amount you'd have to fork out for it.
Was here last weekend. From the outside the place seemed nice but inside was a different story. Wait time to get seated was about 15 mins.
The table they pointed out to us, which looked clean but upon reaching the table we noticed that the seats were dirty as the cleaning person had obviously swept all the food bits onto the chairs and booth seats. We had to clean the seats/chairs ourselves as no wait staff was with us.
Ordering was via QR which led us to the online ordering system.
Food was served with disregard. The server just placed our orders on the table without telling us what it was and without bothering to ask whose it was so that it could be placed at the correct position.
The size of the sushi and sashimi served was astonishingly tiny for the price that was charged. Cha su ramen was disappointing.
After settling our bill, we were handed a folded receipt. As we looked at it on our way out we realised that the receipt handed to us was NOT ours. We went back in to ask for the correct receipt and for the next 20 mins (approx) the cashier couldn't find it and they asked us if we had paid! Imagine our disbelief. The staff is incompetent and worse, unapologetic that they bungled up. Instead of apologizing for giving us the wrong receipt they tried to shift the blame to us. Would they have let us leave the restaurant WITH a receipt after payment if we had not paid in the first place? Ridiculous.

This outlet didn't work well for me. The udon in tomato broth was really not to my palate. The udon was overly soft, or even soggy.
A tad disappointed, as Itacho Sushi is my preferred sushi chain. This outlet is simply not as good as the many others I patronise.

As usual whenever I visit Itacho, I will only select dishes from the promotion or member’s only menu. This time I’m back to utilise the $20 member’s voucher before expiry next week. I find that most Ala-Carte dishes are a bit on the higher side. Food is of decent quality. Do remember. Try food from the promotion menu before deciding to explore others.

Went there for lunch to celebrate a birthday. My friend had the beef curry rice and said he prefers the wagyu tenderloin beef cubes better. The roasted sushi was to my taste. The deep fried fish was something new for me for a Japanese restaurant. It was tasty with the sauce.

From a price to value perspective, I personally don’t recommend Itacho Sushi if you are into sushi/sashimi. The food is edible of course but standard is mere average. However they price their sushi and sashimi higher so I do agree with many past reviews that it’s probably not worth to spend such amount at Itacho. However if you are really going, do avoid this menu category call direct from Japan - I ordered one of the sashimi from that list and there’s no wow factor at all. When it’s sold at a premium and telling your customer it’s direct from Japan, i do expect a difference in taste. But it didn’t work for me. Lastly, some orders which we add on after the first batch took really long to be served.
Nevertheless, a few plus points i observed. The staff are pretty attentive and would often come over to refill our hot green tea. I noticed their menu has some rice/noodles main course menu which is priced at 12-16+ on average. If it’s for a quick affordable lunch in a restaurant, it’s considered quite ok. Also the place is kept really clean which is important.

Went for late lunch before dinner crowd.
It been a long while since I dine here. Service is still good, friendly and attentive staffs. Food is not bad too the only thing I find it missing was their menu booklet perhaps I much prefer looking at the pictures in the menu booklet. 🤪
Overall 👍.

First time trying over at this Tampines outlet, since closure of Jcube.
Went at approximately 5.30pm on a Saturday, queue has started.
Was assigned to the window seatings facing the MrT.
Most of the items taste great, other than the Udon with deep fried pork chop. Kind of blend.
Overall Service not bad, just one point to take note. The seats near the windows are kind of dusty.
