I'm not sure if they changed the recipe, making the macadamia nuts chopped in smaller bits? I've always been a fan of macadamia cookies where you can enjoy both the cookies and the nuts together. This time, I bought a 300g bag with the available promotion, but I couldn't taste the nuts at all. I noticed the small chopped bits of nuts. I ate a few pieces, but couldn't find any with big nuts. Almost a quarter of the bag is gone, and still no large chunks in the cookies. I couldn't even taste the macadamia cookies like I usually do when I buy them. I bought them on Wednesday around 8 pm.

"The Friday evening crew on May 9th were so polite and helpful. Despite the crowd and long queue, the two girls professionally explained the flavors in my packed order. Thank you!"

Waited in line for about 20 minutes and when it was finally our turn, the original cookies were all gone because they were packing for a delivery order. Someone then told me to wait another 25 minutes while they packed 400g x2 of original cookies. They prioritized the delivery order over the people who were waiting in line. Really ridiculous.

Feron has done a fantastic job of making the situation better and making us more comfortable visiting Amos Cookie again.

My wife went to Tampines Mall and bought a pack of Amos cookies. Due to our own needs, she asked to split the pack into two packets. She even offered to pay for the Amos plastic bags. For unknown reasons, the Malay staff angrily rejected the request. She even challenged my wife to file a complaint with her company, which was kind of weird and uncalled for. I suspect the staff might be discriminating against mainland Chinese whose English is limited. This happened with three Malay staff on March 30th at 3:11 PM. They were served by Nur Aqilah Aina and two other more senior Malay staff. Please see the attached receipt details.
With this bad experience, my Chinese in-laws will be sharing this experience on WeiBo and WeChat so that their fellow mainland Chinese tourists will avoid the shop and will not face such abuse in the future.

The cookies are nice, but the customer service definitely needs improvement. The Malay lady wasn't very friendly; I wanted to see the packaging, as I was buying a gift, and she showed me the bag with an annoyed face. She seemed impatient and sealed the bag carelessly. Currently, there's a promotion of 2 x 150g cookie bags for $19.90, which is quite worthwhile and great for gifting, but with selected flavors.

The female staff attending to me was very rude, unfriendly, and impatient. There were no other customers, only me, and I was trying to ask about the number of flavors and some promotions. She was very impatient the whole time, and while I was deciding, she just walked away. Then I saw another promotion and asked if 2x180g could mix two flavors. She said yes, but actually, it was one flavor per bag, and she also charged me an extra $1 for the “premium” flavor without telling me. Since she had already packed the order, I had no choice but to accept. When I asked her why there was an extra $1 charge, she impatiently pointed to the poster and asked me to read it myself. Best cookies but worst service! Guess it was the same Malay lady who is still serving customers despite all the complaints….

"I experienced super rude service from two female staff during my purchase. I wanted to mix two flavors in my 400g pack, and they were very impatient when I asked about the price. The double chocolate chip had an additional charge because it was a higher price, so she suggested I get only 100g of that and 300g of the other flavor. In the end, she packed 200g of each and charged me extra... It was too crowded for me to ask for a change. It was an unpleasant experience. I paid 30 cents for a nicer plastic bag, and she even said loudly, "If you want a nice box, then you should buy the gift boxes!"

Every time I walk past a Famous Amos outlet, the sweet, toasty scent of freshly baked cookies wafts up my nose and really ignites my senses. I rarely know anyone who can resist the magical smell of these delicious little treats!
Famous Amos cookies are something I would buy to treat myself after overcoming an examination or something of that sort. They have a comforting or rewarding effect on me every time I eat them. Thus, although I know they are much more expensive than regular cookies, I am totally willing to pay that price for the feeling of reward. Also, for 100g you get about 7 or 8 cookies, and the small amount makes them seem even more special, so I savor every single one. Even though the amount is so little, I am still willing to share with my friends as well because they taste so good I have to let them try them too.
The cookies have a very unique, sandy texture, yet they do not crumble easily. You still get the satisfaction of the crunch, yet they also easily melt in your mouth. It is not a taste that is easily described, and the best way to understand is to try them yourself! My favorite is always the Double Chocolate Chip & Pecan, a definite must-try for all cookie lovers!
