I wanted to replace my iPhone 12 screen protector, the tall lady told me they mostly have iPhone 13 and they don’t help customers to put it. Disappointed, I went to one next door, Tech House, they did a better job. Don’t Challenger know customer service is important?

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Challenger, a retailer I had previously trusted and respected. I purchased a TCG (OP-03 Booster Box) product from their store at Tampines Mall, only to discover that it had been tampered with and filtered.
As an avid collector and player of TCGs, I rely on retailers to provide me with genuine and unaltered products. However, it was clear that Challenger had failed to maintain the integrity of the products they were selling. This deceitful practice not only undermines the trust of loyal customers like myself but also raises serious concerns about the safety and authenticity of their entire inventory.
Upon further investigation the booster box claimed by their staff is unfiltered with 24 packs sealed in a booster box, it became evident that the tampering of the booster box tape (using scotch tape instead of the normal tape given by official distrubutor) was not an isolated incident but rather a reflection of a systemic problem within Challenger's supply chain. It is deeply disheartening to realize that a company of their stature would engage in such dishonest practices, compromising the experience and investment of countless customers.
What angers me the most is the lack of transparency and accountability from Challenger. They made no effort to inform their customers about the tampered products or take responsibility for their actions. Instead, they continued to sell these filtered items, betraying the trust of unsuspecting buyers who expect to receive genuine and unaltered products.
I strongly urge anyone considering purchasing TCG products from Challenger to exercise caution. Their failure to uphold basic standards of integrity and their disregard for customer satisfaction is utterly unacceptable. I advise seeking alternative retailers who prioritize honesty and the well-being of their customers.
In conclusion, my experience with Challenger has been nothing short of a disappointment. Their sale of filtered TCG products and their lack of accountability have left me feeling deceived and disillusioned. I sincerely hope that this review serves as a warning to others and prompts Challenger to rectify their practices and regain the trust of their customers.

On 2 July 2025, i went over to your store at tampines mall , i was looking for Ipad A16 case + keyboard logitech and one of your female staff came over and assist me with my needs but she say no have and i ask her if other store have the items and she told me don’t have without even checking on the website as this is disappointment from a customer point of view. I will never visit Tamp Mall Challenger anymore as it is a disapointment to see that she never check for me and just tell me no have . Is this how the staff should be doing.

Bought an iPhone 15 and the salesman didn’t seem knowledgeable. Was also disappointed that they didn’t have the pink iPhone on display so we couldn’t see what it looked like in real life until we purchased it, but the same went for Singtel so maybe it’s an agreement with Apple or something. Worst of all, this branch ran out of adapters so we waited for a staff (apparently their boss) to go to Tampines 1 to get one, and it took more than 15 minutes. Overall quite a subpar experience.

Very disappointed now witg the staff named Christopher the big guy.
I was trying to look for speaker louder than my JBL charge5 so I saw this JBL xtreme4. One lady assist me she was nice.
I asked her if I can test the speaker to see how loud it is. She said ok.
She asked me to wait for 10min to check for the new stock.
So while waiting I turned the volume up as loud as it can be and compare to the JBL charge 5 what is their difference.
I was walking away from the speaker less than 1min maybe 10sec or so one staff turned off the speaker.
So I walked back closer to the speaker and turned it on again.
He came and turned off again he said too loud they have other customers that might get destructed.
And I said I am buying for louder speaker so I need to test how loud it can be.
It is not 1min yet and I need to walk away from the speaker to check if I can hear from far.
I am not buying an earphone I am buying for loud speaker.
He is not polite to me and I said I am cuztomer as well.
I even complained to the counter about his attitude towards me.
Lets see , the manager said he will check from cctv!
Aiyoooo manager should train all the staff how to deal nicely to the customers.
I always buy in Tampines 1 staff are way friendly their because they are young?haha

1. I think it's impossible to get a refund back once you paid, regardless of any reasons. Never pay until u r sure u can lose that money for they will never ever give u back a refund. The moment u pay, u will never be able to get a full refund. Even when the item has yet to leave the shop. This is unfair business practices.
At best, they make sure u get any substitutes in dollar value. Buyer beware.
2. Female cashier banged the very expensive electronic item 2x on the payment counter even after I cautioned her the first time. Strange that an employee in an electronic store is so cavalier n rough in handling electronic items.
3. Plays some games with u so that u got to join their ValueClub memberships in order to buy at a slightly lower price. At the end of the day, unless u buy extremely many items to justify that membership price, u only pay more.
4. Most of their items are far higher priced than Harvey Norman for same items. I suggest go Harvey Norman is better for the 4 reasons stated. After a few bad experiences, I never returned to any Challenger shops ever again.

The service staff who attended to me just has a 'I am not interested in the job' or 'I would rather be anywhere but here' vibe.
When I asked him if a particular SD card is available, he just said "Sorry, all there". I had to look for it myself and found it. When I paid for the product at the cashier, he again attended to me. Despite me having a $30 stored value to my account, he didn't bother to inform me or apply it for my purchase. I had to remind him and he just said "oh ok, yea sure".
Young man, go forth and seek your desired profession. I'm sure you are dreaming of a job as an Astronaut, a fighter pilot, a multimillionaire. Whatever it may be, go for it but for goodness sake, get your arse out of this job now so I can have a more pleasant customer experience next round.

staffs were very rude, went there and look for a adapter for my camera and one of the sales man took a glance at my camera and said that they don’t sell the adapter here. after awhile , i saw an adapter that might be for my camera and i went to find another sales man to confirm it and he showed me attitude and said that’s not it and he went to find another adapter for me. while i was waiting for him at the side, he turned around and served another customer and left me standing there. found that very rude as they don’t value their customers and he should have at least told me that he is going to serve someone else first. is this how their staffs are trained ? i was so mad and i put the adapter back and left the store. this will be my last time here
the previous time when i was here, the staffs were very nice and helped me to purchase the camera that i’ve wanted. especially when they told me to sign up as their member. but after this purchase , they’re attitude has been getting worse
