I recently visited this place for my son eye checkup and glasses. The process of eye checkup was too good as the employee "Christine Sim" make sure the optical numbers are accurate. She made the child comfortable and provide multiple options of glasses as per my child need. I do recommend the shop and I will also be visiting again.

Just picked up a new pair of glasses, and they’re awesome! I usually take forever to pick a frame and change my mind a bunch of times. Normally, I spend 1-2 hours in the optical shop each visit. But this time, it was less than 20 minutes, and that included the prescription check! Turns out, a lot depends on the optometrist helping you. Charmaine was amazing! She quickly figured out what I liked and didn’t like, making the whole process so much faster. She had a great eye for which frames suited me and gave me the confidence to decide. Am really happy with my new, comfy specs. Plus, I know I can always go back and get Charmaine’s help.

Went last week and had my glasses ready in just as week. I had a fantastic experience with the male staff that was serving me. He was very detailed when explaining the lenses and coating when I was getting my glasses done. You can tell he’s very attentive when it comes to customer service. There were a wide selection of glasses in different brands for one to choose from. I would recommend everyone who needs a new glasses to come and get theirs here.

Made 1 pair of of spec using my old degree, decided to make another pair, chris was kind enough to ask me to double check on my degree again even when i insisted of using my old degree so i decided to make the 2nd pair with the updated degree after checking. After wearing the 2nd pair, found that it was more comfortable, ask can change the lens for my 1st pair to the same as my 2nd pair, chris was kind enough to replace it for me for free. All the stuff working here are also friendly.

Everyone at this outlet has been very helpful and friendly. Was shopping around for a gd pair of daily contact lenses and decided to swing by their store. The optician Siti was super helpful and really sweet. During the vision test she explained any vision issues I had to look out for and did a contact lens fitting for me. She explained why some types of contact lenses didn't work for me and even checked my eye curvature and overall eye health. 2 thumbs up for such excellent service! Will definitely will goin back to a pair of specs for me to wear at home.

Chris was very professional while attending to our request to change my daughter’s 2 months old Hoya transition lens to one without transition. As there was no change in prescription, Hoya was not willing to change the lens for free. Chris tried her level best to explain and spent many days discussing with Hoya to convince them to allow for the change. Her dedication to provide the best service to her customers and her commitment is clearly demonstrated when she tirelessly followed through until she arrived at an agreement with Hoya to allow for the change. Chris also did a thorough eye check for my daughter to ensure clear and comfortable vision before changing the lens. We would like to thank Chris for all the help rendered. Many thanks also to Corrine who attended to my daughter when she visited the store in Oct 2024. Corrine was very patient and very pleasant to deal with. She’s knowledgeable and helped my daughter to eventually choose a pair of glasses that is practical and suitable for a young girl. Our family has been customers of Capitol Optical in Tampines Mall for more than a decade and are happy to continue obtaining optical services from them.
