There is an issue with how unavailable items on Foopanda orders are handled by this Breadtalk outlet.
At other outlets, when items were unavailable, the order was cancelled by the outlet. However, at this outlet, I was told that I am expected to cancel the order instead, which I was unable to do so as the button was greyed out on the app.
I was then asked to contact Foodpanda for assistance which the customer service agent responded that they were unable to cancel the order as the order was ready for pick up according to the system.
I explained that I was informed by the outlet that the items were not available which I was directed to contact the outlet for a resolution.
The outlet said that no refund could be given as they cannot cancel the order from their end, and offered to let me pick the remaining available buns of equivalent value instead.
Ultimately, this is an unsatisfactory solution as there weren’t many choices remaining. This is in addition to the fact that I made my Foodpanda order way in advance at 1pm (see attached photo), only to be informed at 7pm that the items are not available.

I really love this BreadTalk so much , and surprised me of customer service very nice staff . She saw the customer front of me moving to take some bread from counter awhile do payment
so her hair fall into my tray 🥲 the staff saw it and quickly change for me

The decor and ambience is really pleasant here. Prices are still the same and taste wise it is delicious. Interesting to see them baking the 🍞 as well …

Will usually drop by this outlet to get the bread or bun when I’m otw to work … until one day I saw flies in the covered display. Went again the next few days - same thing happened . I didn’t highlight this to the staff cos another customer was seen trying to get rid of the fly, just in front of the cashier but I guess the staff just couldn’t bothered with it.

Interior decor represents a porsh bakery. Layout of outlet is spacious. 'Get Cheesy' bun so soft and subtle - with cheese flavour and mayo. Not oily at all. Good quality shredded cheese used. Crusted on sides. Not overcooked or undercooked. Well worth the price. 'Sausage Standard' good to be used as an evening snack. Bun is tasty in itself. Nice and glossy. Sausage is not too cold even after being in display. Staff are always polite and friendly. Be sure to visit every day as their offerrings differ each day.

This place is famous for its Chicken Floss Bun and they sometimes have promotions for discount on their buns. However their drinks here are totally not worth it but you can order cakes for events if you want!

I always enjoy walking past breadtalk. It always smells great and the staff are friendly there. Their bread is abit pricey but it is worth it. Must try their floss bun bread. Another good bread would be their egg o clock. Check out the picture for more information. 👍🏻 …

When claiming using Yuu points, your Yuu ID needs to be scanned first, followed by whatever you are claiming. I was redeeming 1x bread for the first time, and the cashier didn't know how to do it. Eventually got resolved after another experienced staff came to help, but not without holding the line for a few minutes. I mean, either train the cashier regarding the procedure, or put someone who is experienced to man the cashier.
