Senior Credit Controller (Logistic Industry)

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage outstanding accounts, ensuring prompt payments are received.
• Review and assess customer creditworthiness and set appropriate credit limits.
• Follow up with customers regarding overdue payments through calls, emails, and letters.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Work closely with the sales and finance teams to ensure smooth credit processes.
• Prepare regular reports on outstanding debts and aging accounts for management.
• Handle customer queries related to invoices and payments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all communications and transactions.
• Ensure compliance with company credit policies and legal requirements.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and forecasting.

Job Requirement:

• Relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or finance roles.
• Strong understanding of credit control processes and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
