General Manager

Key Responsibility :

• Provide strategic leadership for the full lifecycle of metal‐work projects—from concept and shop-drawing review through fabrication, delivery, and on-site installation of drain covers, handrails, railings, gratings, and other steel or aluminium works.
• Plan and control project schedules, budgets, and manpower; allocate shop and site resources to meet production targets while maintaining cost efficiency.
• Oversee fabrication operations—material take-off, CNC cutting, welding, finishing, and factory quality checks—to ensure all products meet design drawings, BCA codes, SS/EN standards, and client specifications.
• Direct on-site installation activities, coordinating with main contractors, site managers, and subcontractors to achieve seamless hand-offs, accurate setting-out, and timely completion.
• Represent the company at site, coordination, and safety meetings, presenting progress reports, resolving technical issues, and safeguarding commercial interests.
• Implement and enforce robust safety protocols under WSH Act, LTA/BCA requirements, and company HSE policies; conduct regular toolbox talks, risk assessments, and site audits.
• Monitor project progress proactively, identify bottlenecks in procurement, fabrication, or installation, and deploy corrective actions to protect schedule and margin.
• Ensure full regulatory compliance with MOM, SCDF, BCA, and relevant ISO certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 45001); maintain all permits, method statements, and inspection test plans.
• Manage procurement and supplier relationships, securing high-quality raw materials and outsourced processes (galvanizing, powder-coating) at competitive terms.
• Drive quality assurance—from factory inspection records to site installation checklists—to achieve zero-defect handover and minimise rework.

Job Requirement:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
• At least 10 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
