Trainer for Food Safety Course Level 1 / Baking (English and Mandarin)
Responsibilities :
Conduct training and activities professionally as per lesson plan
Conduct & review the assessment as stated in the Assessment Plan
Ensure training is conducted in a safe and conducive environment
Provide administrative support in capturing the attendance, feedback etc of the learners
Qualification requirements for WSQ Adult Educators (AE)
Passed either:
• WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) OR
• Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) full qualification

Food Safety Course Level 1
• NITEC Certificate equivalent or higher, in food science related courses with food safety modules
• WSQ Follow Food and Beverage Safety and Hygiene Policies and Procedures (BFHC) or WSQ Food Safety Course (FSC) L1
• WSQ Conduct Food & Beverage Audit (FHO) Course or WSQ Food Safety Course (FSC) L3
• At least two (2) years’ F&B experience in supervisory OR training OR consultancy area
Baking and Cooking Courses
• NITEC Certificate equivalent or higher, in culinary, baking, or cooking-related modules
• At least two (2) years’ hands-on experience in the culinary arts and baking industry.
Food Safety Course Level 3
• Diploma equivalent or higher, in food science related courses with food safety modules
• WSQ Conduct Food & Beverage Audit (FHO) Course or WSQ Food Safety Course (FSC) L3
• WSQ Apply Food Safety Management Systems for Food Services Establishment (FSMS) Course (same as FSCL4)
• At least two (2) years’ F&B experience in managing OR auditing OR conduct training OR provide consultancy for food safety systems
For course delivery and assessment in Mandarin, the Trainer / Assessor must have :
• Pass in 'A' level Chinese as a first language (Higher Chinese) or
• At least a B3 Grade in 'AO' level Chinese as a second language (CL2) or
•At least a B3 Grade in 'O' level Chinese as a first language (Higher Chinese) or
• At least a A2 Grade in O' level Chinese as a second language (CL2) or
• At least Grade 8 In Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) (HSK intermediate) or
• At least Grade 4 in Business Chinese Test (BCT) or
• BCT (B) 250 points and above, or
• HSK Level 5, 240 points and above OR HSK Level 6, 180 points and above
