My son has been a student at Yamaha TM for few years and he really like the place. He likes every big or small studio and he is happy learning from the experienced teacher there. Teacher and staff gave very knowledgable advice on which piano is suitable for my son. Thank you Yamaha Tampines Mall..

I have been Yamaha student for more than 5 years. The drum teacher, Juraimi is an excellent and patient teacher. The supprting staff, Christine has been extremely helpful in all my requests. At time, she goea extra milea to remind me that class is on after holiday.
I strongly encourage my friends to come to learn in Yamaha

The staff at Yamaha Tampines was very helpful and explained all the details regarding how the classes would be set up. The registration process would very quick and straight forward
The trial class was quite good as well as it gave us a sneak preview of what we could expect in the future classes.
Thank you!

Purchase of electric guitar & accessories at Tampines branch on Sat 2 Sep late afternoon
May I send my compliment to the sales team (esp. Mr Too Yun Shyi) who delivered excellent customer service & assisted us with great instrument knowledge & expertise.
What’s more, good team work in serving customers was shown as well. For instance, while Mr Too was telling us regarding the color options, his colleague had already got the options ready and showed us. Their teamwork added a warm and harmonious feel to our purchase experience.
It’s a blessing for Yamaha to have such a great sales team. We have no doubt recommending friends/students to visit the Tampines branch & approach the friendly & professional sales team for advice in purchasing the suitable instruments.

We were disappointed with our experience at the Yamaha Junior Course. From the start, the front desk staff came across as unfriendly and unwelcoming, which did not set a positive tone for the school.
We enrolled our child in the course expecting a consistent and engaging learning experience. However, Teacher Eve frequently took leave, especially during school holidays, and the replacement arrangements were poorly managed. This disrupted the learning flow and made it difficult for our child to stay engaged.
Additionally, the teaching style lacked the interactivity and enthusiasm we expected from a program aimed at young children. There was minimal effort to spark interest or make the lessons fun and educational.
Overall, the staff quality and course delivery did not meet our expectations, and we feel that improvements are urgently needed—both in terms of teacher consistency and creating a more positive, child-friendly environment.

I went there yesterday to buy my daughter a keyboard for her birthday I saw total 4-5 staff and only 1 guy knew anything about the instruments.. he was knowledgeable and was trying to help, but we waited for more than 30 - 40 mins just to be heard! Because he was attending another customer mind you there were only 2 customers in the whole store us and another guy still it took such a long time to attend to us. And it took us like 7-10 mins to decide and buy! Why is Yamaha so short staffed? At least there should be 2-3 sales representatives to help customer with instruments. Try to wait for 30-40 mins with a child! If it wasn’t a bday present I would have left immediately!

Both my boys have been learning music at Yamaha since they were 4 years old (and they are now 15 and 11!). The staff and teachers at Yamaha are all very friendly, professional and caring and will go out of their way to help the students and parents!

My Son have been with Yamaha Music School since he was 2 years old in Apple Class at Tampines Mall.
The reason we choose this location is convenient for us and the staffs and teachers have a good communication and relationship with us and guidance for the students well in teaching.
We appreciate and thank you for their time and effort.

Notice of blacklist of yamaha music school due to unprofessional music teacher commenting on my handphone model and my person with special needs card.
I am interested in electone training, and in Nov Dec 2022 went to Yamaha music school in plaza singapura, they told me that all student capacity is fully booked and no free slots available. I managed to get an university undergraduate to teach me all the music theory within 1 month 30 days, but singapore school university holidays is from may to august 2023, so the university student is not available to teach electone. I called every yamaha music school in singapore and tampines says that there is free slot available on thursday evening, starting 1st june 2023.
The music teacher is unprofessional, I showed her my person with special needs card and she says that the medical condition for issue of the card is not stated. She also commented on my 5g handphone model, when I show her that I have loaded bluetooth wireless midi music software flowkey on the handphone
I am already practising Monday to friday during lunch time, using a generic 61 key board and a spoilt 20 key yamaha electone leg pedal, because it is impossible for electone to be placed in office as it is too big and heavy, and yamaha does not have light 3KG electone with light 2KG leg pedal. I still does not meet her expectations and she refused to teach faster, she did say that she has student who can finish one book in 1 month and she did teach faster for that student.
I even timed the yamaha electone the rhythm timing speed, so it is about 0.9s 1.8s 2.7s, so I can use a watch to approximate the timing when practise in office, because it is impossible to have an electone in office, the yamaha music school teacher even ask why I use the watch instead of listen to a specific rhythm and speed, but there is no electone in office. I aLready tried my best to simulate an electone in office using a generic 61 key board and a spoilt 20 key yamaha electone leg pedal.
Now that singapore university is open, the undergraduate is teaching castle in the sky E flat 3b and G minor 5# or 2b, the yamaha music teacher refuse to teach at faster pace (she did say that she has student who can finish one book in 1 month and she did teach faster for that student). So there is a very big gap between undergradute teaching and yamaha music school teaching.
Weekends I have to do other tasks and also university undergraduate continue teaching me music.
Maybe this is the reason why the 1st June 2023 training slot is open, because the previous student is not satisfied with the training or has been commented unprofessionally by the same teacher.
