The food is nicely seasoned, and the noodles had a nice chew, but it was overall lacking in meat ingredients. The fried pork dumplings were a bit too oily. The beef skewers were quite fatty, which is my personal preference, but I felt the meat could be more tender.
I suppose this stall specializes in Xi An noodles, located in the food court of Tampines Mall.
I thought the noodle portion was quite substantial, but the ingredients were pretty limited, with only a few small cubes of meat and two stalks of greens. The noodles were cooked well.
I guess the chili that was added was overcooked, as there was a bitter aftertaste. It wasn't very pleasant to enjoy.
"Very disappointed with the rou jiamo. It tasted totally different from the NEX outlet. It wasn't flaky at all; it was just a doughy bun with few fillings. Even the cold noodles tasted different, being hard and dry. Food standards are not consistent."
The steamed buns are quite big, a bit like noodles. The cold skin is elastic and tasty, and the meat skewers have a cumin flavor. Overall, the taste is okay. Perhaps because there were a lot of noodles, I didn’t get much of the other ingredients.
Not worth it; the taste is mediocre, and it just bears the name of Xi'an Impression. They're pure machine noodles.
The service was very poor, especially from the Singaporean male waiter. He said the door opened at 10:30, but insisted it was 11 o'clock, and then his attitude was very bad.
Liangpi is okay. The beef pappardelle was average.
