went for the $68 color & cut promo. didnt realize that the $68 promo is only for 5 basic colors (shades of dark brown) had to top up $30 for “creative” colors + $20 as i have longer hair.
Darryl color my hair, i wanted ashy color but it turned red, and can see patches of black where the color didnt “eat” my black hair … he was kind enough to re-do 2nd time color but result still the same. he told me to wait a week and guarantees that it will be better after a few washes. disappointed but i guess what can you expect for promotion price?
The girl who attended to me Miko very friendly! in fact i would give 5 stars to the staff there, very friendly and attentive! i was coughing badly and they were so kind to keep offering me warm water, Luis even offer me lozenges! great service, too bad about the color.
overall no hard sell except when i was trying to pay at the cashier counter. i had to listen to the obligatory “join member” pitch.

I am a customer with the Jean Yip Nails salon since 2021. I started my visits with them to address my big toe nail on my right foot that was badly infected with fungi and I had already lost half of the toe nail! After my first consultation with them, Wen Xi (my consultant) recommended a package of 10 treatments to intensively treat the nail. Their recommended fungi treatment spray was also very effective in between my visits. I am happy to share that after 6 months, I began to see visible new and healthy growth of nail! Today, you can see my fully recovered toe nail, all thanks to Wen Xi's recommendations.
Since then, I have bought manicure/pedicure with gelish packages. Since I have been doing regular treatments, their recommendations for packages were timely and allowed me to get the best deals. I have also done eye brow embroidery work, which I'm very pleased with -- it looks very naturally coloured.
I am always very happy to drop in and visit the salon for my treatments. As consultants, they have made helpful recommendations and are not pushy to hard-sell me their packages. I am already enticed because of their excellent customer service and dedication to their work! Thanks to Wen Xi, Joey and Brenda for taking good care of my nails! <3

Follow up on my previous reviews and I also read some of the reviews about the facial hard selling. Yes they were very pushy and kept selling. Is kinda scary esp when you tell them no and straight away their service is different! Even the cashier also very bad service when I made the payment. The facial was good. The beautician is friendly but the consultant there really need more training.

Bought the deep cleansing package and have been for 2 sessions- scalp already feels much cleaner and hair feels healthier than before. Happy with the results so far!
Excellent service from my stylists too! Darryl is gentle and attentive- on my first visit he explained to me each part of the treatment, and gives helpful advice on ways to improve my hair care at home. Miko gives amazing head massages and is very friendly, always happy to see her. Would highly recommend these 2 stylists to anyone 😊

Have been patronising the salon for a few years. Always very satisfying with their haircut. Dary is very detail and meticulous, he will listen attentively and cut to the style I wanted. Booking the appointment is always a breeze. Highly recommended!!
