"Best matcha azuki muffins! They are dense yet soft. I used to love the melon pan, but I can't find it anymore. Please bring this yummy bun back!"

The bread, while pricier, has a good texture, and the store has a good selection. I tried two of the top 5 recommended items (items 1 and 3), but these turned out to be rather plain for my liking. The chocolate mochi bread, though not in the top 5, was my preferred flavor. The cheese bread (ranked 3rd) was my least favorite, as it wasn't as cheesy as expected.

I was extremely satisfied with my purchase due to its great taste, texture, and variety. Most products pretty much sell out during dinner time. The price averages around $2.50 per bun, which is similar to other local bread shops. I will definitely patronize them again.

Due to the recent inflation everywhere, I noticed that the prices at this bakery have also gone up. So, while I expected them to maintain their service standards, they actually dropped. During weekend evenings, the queue is always moving very slowly because only one counter is open. There are quite a number of staff inside the kitchen and outside, but it makes me wonder why other staff can't proactively and quickly open another counter to serve, instead of making customers queue for a long time just to pay for a few pieces of expensive bread. From my experience, the wait can sometimes take more than 15 minutes, even when there are only a few customers in front of me.

Love it when the bread and scones come out freshly baked; the lovely fragrance bewitches me to get those baked goods. I love the Earl Grey tea scone, as well as the kokutou x kokutou pan (so soft and chewy)!!!! Shout out to Kai Ming! Thank you for helping us get the stamp for spending $20 after we had already paid. He was very fast and quick, clearing the queue in a short amount of time. ☺️☺️ Update on July 25th: Shout out to the bakers here in this Tamp outlet for making such delicious bread!! I tried the kokutou x kokutou pan from the Yishun outlet, and it is not as fluffy and chewy 🥲

Recommended by friends, I tried their mochi cheese cranberry buns and Earl Grey scones. I was happy to grab the mochi cheese cranberry bun fresh from the oven. What are the chances of pulling apart a piping hot bun, right? The little sugar crystals married with the dehydrated cranberries kept my taste buds excited. The baked dough was so fluffy, soft, and "bouncy" with each chew. The chocolate cranberry scones? Enough said. Just grab one! It's neither dry nor hard like other brands I've tried. Yup; just grab one. 😄 $2.20 each, but... worth the try.

I've tried various breads and pastries from this shop since they opened in Tampines Mall. However, compared to when they first opened, the bread size, ingredient amount, and quality seem to have been reduced, likely to increase profits. I hope they can maintain the good standards they had when Gokoku Bakery first opened. This would encourage loyal, long-term customers to return and attract new customers as well.

Opened in late August, expect to queue after 11 am onwards. The fig bun is my favorite; it’s soft and chewy. The cream pan is my son’s favorite; the bun is soft and filled with custard, and it’s not too sweet! The kouign amann is quite small compared to Tiong Bahru Bakery, but it’s less sweet. Gotta try them all!

"Lots of bakery variations and very tasty. We mostly get croissants. Dine-in is not available."

A new Japanese bakery opened on August 27th. The shop is rather cramped, so managing customer flow might be necessary, similar to the arrangement at Millenia Walk. The baked goods look delicious as usual. Insider tip: There's a free tote bag for a minimum spend of $20 for the first 50 customers daily until September 5th.
