Everything was good, except your trolleys' locks are outdated. That old dollar or new 50-cent coin needs to be inserted to use them. Why is this so? I would think FairPrice/NTUC is very progressive!

I am absolutely furious and disappointed with the new packaging of FairPrice Soft White Tissue (2-ply, 200 sheets). I recently purchased it from the Tampines FairPrice, only to get home and realize that the size has been reduced by at least 2 cm compared to the previous packaging. And yet, I am still being charged the same price! This kind of deceitful tactic is nothing short of scammy business behavior. It’s completely unacceptable to trick customers like this; it's blatant exploitation!

As you can see, many reviews are about the same few people. This is a warning to avoid the self-checkout as much as possible. It happened to me a few days ago. Two aunties at the checkout, whose names I unfortunately never caught, were super rude. The Chinese lady wasn't so bad, but the Indian lady, whom I never interacted with, kept adding fuel to the fire while purposely speaking so loudly, and the Chinese aunty joined in, lol. It’s their job to help people, but it seems they are just deterring people from self-checkout, which in turn causes long lines at the cashiers. These miserable people’s goal is to make people as miserable as them. It happened with my son regarding a voucher. I admitted that it was my fault to the Chinese aunty for not seeing the sign, because it was so small. Then, she told me to go to the cashiers instead, so I told my son to help me queue at the cashiers, as instructed BY HER. I was waiting for the Chinese aunty to come and remove the items as I have been to FairPrice Finest, and they can just delete the item or restart the transaction. In the end, she told me to come back and asked who was going to pay for the items? It wasn't busy, by the way. That’s when the Indian lady repeated the same line loudly. Wow, maybe if this has been happening a few times, they should get a bigger sign that isn't covered by promotional items? Instead of making their lives easier, they choose to bully customers? They kept saying how I’m incompetent, over a damn voucher? Sorry, but you’re working at NTUC, not doing your job, and calling me incompetent? It seems they have zero common sense or self-awareness, and it seems no one has addressed their behavior. I always shop at Finest; this is my first time going there, and I will never set foot there again. I will choose Giant or other supermarkets instead. People might not care that it happened to me, but I’m sure you’d be pissed off if it happened to your family or someone you love. They are lucky those they bullied aren't the type of people who would sue, etc. To the others, don’t worry, karma will strike them back.

A very well-stocked store with fair prices. Look out for the cooked food section in the evening; there are a lot of good deals.

18 Apr, 8:45 PM Rude attendant at the redemption counter. I asked her how the stamp system works if I exceeded $30. She explained it very rudely, as if I was supposed to already know. If I knew, why would I ask? I don't like her attitude; she shouldn't work there.

When the Turkey Embassy called for relief items for the earthquake disaster on Wednesday, February 8th, I went down to the Tampines Mall NTUC to make a bulk purchase of canned and baby food items on Thursday, February 9th. At the store, MeiLan and her team of colleagues understood my need to purchase in bulk for the relief items. They helped me gather the products they had in store and settle the payment and packing for delivery. Delivery was arranged to one of the collection points, Genting Lane, the next day. However, the situation changed with different needs for the relief items, resulting in all the purchased items being returned to the store on Friday, February 10th. With the dynamic situation changes, the Turkey Embassy no longer required food items as stated in their initial relief list. Fortunately, another organization, Salt&Light, started collecting medical items and baby products. With this change, I went down to the Tampines Mall NTUC store again on Saturday, February 11th, to exchange the initially purchased products for baby products (formula milk, bottles, diapers) and medication of an equivalent sum to what I had previously purchased. MeiLan was supposed to be off, but instead of not wanting to trouble her colleague to handle such a bulk exchange, she took the initiative to swap her off day with her colleague, even though she had plans that evening. MeiLan and HuiShan greatly assisted me in identifying the products and then packed them into cartons, and loaded them into my car. Their attitude towards work is certainly commendable. I am very glad that the Tampines Mall NTUC team is very helpful; they are always there to provide great customer service to their customers. Thanks a lot for your assistance in making the relief donation a successful mission.

The auntie nearest the self-checkout counter was very rude to me today. She told us to weigh the onions and said that "even a kid also knows how to do it," and she had zero patience when explaining how I could use my NS credits to pay. Please avoid going to her counter.

Madam Beh Kwa, or something (I only had a quick glance at her name tag) at the ā€˜customer service’ counter was so rude and unfriendly. I checked out via Self Checkout and realized I got the wrong flavor of sausages in one of the packs, and both items were the same price: $3.56. First of all, she thought I had purchased only one pack, but I'd already told her a couple of times that I merely wanted to exchange the non-spicy ones for the spicy ones. Then she said she could only key in $3.55 and not $3.56, though I saw the full 1234567890 number keypad, and wanted to charge me $3.57 for the ā€˜additional’ pack? I asked why and, again, explained that I only intended to exchange. She then proceeded to raise her voice at me, saying I never mentioned it. So I very politely corrected her and told her I had explained it many times, but she just didn’t listen. Like, come on, why?!
