Pricey. Most likely the crazy rental. Should just move to nearby hdb or tampines mall.

Bad service by a chinese guy wearing glasses His seasoning skill is horrible. We bought a rack of lamb (quite expensive cut) was ruin by him . Damm super salty that is inedible,we had to throw it away. If you dont have the skill, ,let us know we can do it ourselves. While he preparing, we want to purchase more stuff but end up, he insisted us to pay for the lamb 1st then can shop to purchase other items . Worrying we can't afford to pay after we ensure him we will pay. But no, he still insisted. Worst shop and service . Marination of the meats is not great . Will never come back again.

Very dishonest staff. Originally asked for wagyu eye round ($4/100g) for stewing soup, but staff said the display pieces aren't good for sale anymore. But he proceeded to recommend tenderloin ($9/100g) instead of chuck or brisket cuts. I then opted for chuck ($3.6/100g), but noticed that he had keyed in another cut of beef ($6/100g) for payment. I clarified, and he said it was the same. I told him the price was different. He checked, apologised, and repriced the beef. I paid without checking further as I saw the price was about right and assumed it should be correct after his re-checked. After I went home, I realised he had charged me another type of chuck cut, that was $4/100g. Perhaps next time I should ask for tenderloin ($9/100g) and hope he charges me only $4/100g??? Also, how can a butcher not be familiar with the recommended types for cuts for various cooking methods? Tenderloin for stewing soup, wow!

Bert and Jason are amazing at what they do at Cut Butchery. Their extensive knowledge of various meat cuts is truly impressive—they can explain the unique characteristics of each cut, from marbling patterns to ideal cooking methods. Whether you're looking for the perfect ribeye, specialty game meats, or advice on how to prepare a brisket, their expertise shines through. They take the time to understand your preferences and cooking abilities, then make spot-on recommendations. Their passion for quality meat is evident in how they can tell you about the sourcing, aging process, and flavor profiles of everything in their display case. Cut Butchery is lucky to have such knowledgeable butchers who elevate the shopping experience.

When the store is packed, there is no proper order and customers are served at random. I waited in a line thinking it was the queue but butchers just serve whoever meets their eye line first. When I asked where was the queue as I waited a while as they served people behind me I didn’t get a response just a stare from one of the butchers. The other butcher had enough manners to respond to ask for a minute, fine. Finally served me and I still had to wait for a customer who came after me to make his payment before I could make mine. Review is a cheat, they give 3% off after receiving a 5 star review.
