Metta Day Rehabilitation Centre for the Elderly (慈光乐龄日间康复中心) was established in June 1998 to provide rehabilitative care for individuals with physical impairments due to stroke, Parkinson’s disease, or other conditions.

With a maximum capacity of 75 clients from diverse backgrounds, our centre is dedicated to maximizing our clients’ independence while providing respite for their families and caregivers. We achieve this by offering a comprehensive range of rehabilitative and social support services under one roof.

Temporary Operations Executive (3-Month Contract)

Work Location & Hours

📍 Location: Tampines
🕒 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Job Responsibilities:

Centre Operations

• Support daily operations, logistics, cleanliness, and maintenance of the centre.
• Supervise general workers and part-time staff.
• Manage equipment, vehicle servicing, and inventory.
• Coordinate transport schedules, monthly food rations, and assist in event planning (including occasional weekends).
• Assist with audits (e.g., NEA) and liaise with vendors when needed.
• Handle referrals and schedule initial assessments for new clients.

Client Support

• Ensure a safe environment for clients during therapy sessions and outings.
• Assist with client transport and documentation of therapy activities.

Others

• Support fundraising activities and perform any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
• Secondary school education/WSQ/NITEC in Therapy Services or related.
• Able to work with elderly clients; bilingual in English and dialects.
