Assistant Cook

Work Location: Toa Payoh

The Assistant Cook will assist the Cook and is responsible for cooking in the Cook's absence.

• Plan the menu.
• Marketing - responsible for doing the daily marketing within the budget.
• Boil water for making morning tea breaks.
• Prepare ingredients and cook for lunch.
• Washing daily used towels, utensils, and cookware.
• Responsible for drying and storing all towels, utensils, and cookware in designated areas.
• Wash the sink inside the kitchen, the kitchen floor, and clean the stove and kitchen cabinets.
• Responsible for washing the kitchen area and the store daily.
• Clear rubbish in the kitchen.
• Sort and pack any food donations in the kitchen store or refrigerators.
• Any relevant duties as assigned from time to time.
