PastaMania at Tampines Mall offers a casual Italian dining experience. It's a convenient spot for a quick and affordable meal while shopping. The menu features a variety of pasta dishes, from classic Carbonara and Bolognese to local-inspired options like Seafood Tom Yum, as well as pizzas and some sides.
While some reviews mention the food can be average and the sauces might taste commercially prepared, others appreciate the quick service and reasonable prices, especially for families. It's a halal-certified restaurant, making it accessible to a wider group. The ambiance is generally comfortable for a casual meal. If you're looking for a no-fuss Italian meal in Tampines Mall, PastaMania is a decent option.
A few points to highlight:
- It would be appreciated if the floor wasn't swept before closing when diners are still eating.
- Remember the promotion mechanisms.

Two people ordered:
Cheesy garlic bread: Was just okay.
Truffle mac and cheese baked pasta: It was not baked and was way too salty and watery.
Chicken sausage spaghetti: No salt at all (as per the personnel, no salt is added in pasta), so you have to add it yourself.
What kind of service is this?
One guy was running around. He was a nice guy, but there was a lack of manpower.

"$14.20 for truffle pasta that had neither the taste nor scent of truffle is simply overpriced. They should have named the dish “Garlic mushroom with tasteless cream pasta.” 😭"

I have to eat without cutlery. The staff were talking very loudly. One of the staff wore a mask without covering their nose or mouth. The food quality has dropped; the pasta had no taste, and the sauce was very thick.

The food was good and was served within 10 minutes. Their Aglio Olio linguine was well cooked, and the cheese stick was hot and crispy. Overall, it was a good experience, and the restaurant is family-friendly since they have a long table that can cater to big groups.

The food tasted okay. The staff didn't know the ingredients in certain dishes when asked. We had to reorder a main dish because I don't eat cheese. The place was crowded, likely due to the weekend crowd. Oh, and the round squid they use in the seafood pasta is super rubbery, almost plastic-like.

Pastamania isn't as good as it used to be.
The quantity feels less, and it's expensive.
The calamari rings were not good at all; I would say no.
The aglio olio was also a waste.
The mushroom soup is okay, as it's normal.

I like the new renovation; the place seems brighter, and the portions of food are larger, which I appreciate. It's a comfortable place to dine in. Rina and the Tampines team provide such excellent service to every customer. I would definitely come here again!

This was my first visit to PastaMania @ Tampines Mall. As we were unfamiliar with the ordering process, Ms. Fatima was very helpful and patient with us. We ended up ordering two sets of Beef Bolognese with extra sauce and added mozzarella cheese, plus a meat lover's regular 7" pizza inclusive of English breakfast tea. She's not only professional in her job, but also very customer-oriented. PastaMania should have more employees like her. We will definitely come again. Thank you, Ms. Fatima.

For a reasonable price, Pasta Mania's pasta is well prepared and sauced. The service is usually prompt, and the casual dining atmosphere is comfortable. The Aglio Olio was light and satisfying with fragrant garlic and oil. The Marinara sauce was rich and robust, and not overly tangy. The Zuppa pasta was quite interesting in a well-seasoned, slightly spicy broth with chunks of vegetables. The minestrone soup was slightly watery, but the flavor was still present and enjoyable, making it acceptable despite its thinner consistency. The broth was warm and comforting, with a good mix of vegetables.
