WSH Safety Officer (5.5 Day | All Welcome!) - Up to $4,200 + VB + Allowances

• Position: Safety Officer
• Location: Pioneer
• Working Hours: 5.5 day work week (Monday to Friday: 7.30am - 4.30pm, Saturday: 7.30am - 12.45pm)
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $4,200 + Variable Bonus + Allowances + OT payable (if required)
• Duration: Permanent

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to relevant Acts, Regulations, and organizational policies
• Investigate and report on workplace incidents, near misses, safety concerns and recommend corrective actions
• Support in implementation of risk assessments and related training activities
• Take proactive measures to highlight unsafe conditions and enforce safety compliance on-site
• Maintain records of safety orientation and daily toolbox meetings
• Stay updated with the latest developments in WSH laws and regulations
• Support the WSHO in evaluating workers' safety competency levels
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

• Possess certificate in WSH, or equivalent certification
• Minimum 2 years of EHS/WSH experience, preferably in the oil & gas industry
