We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Site Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily site operations, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Manage and supervise site personnel, including subcontractors and direct workers.
- Liaise with subcon to plan, arrange and execute construction activities.
- Liaise with design department to confirm and clarify design issues.
- Ensure quality of work done conform to specifications.
- Able to coordinate well with MEP department
- Prepare and maintain detailed site records, including progress reports, material tracking, and quality control documentation.
- Adhere to safety protocols on site, conducting regular safety inspections.
- Liaise with RE, RTOs and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Resolve site-related issues and conflicts effectively and efficiently.
- Manage and coordinate the procurement and delivery of construction materials.
- Prepare and submit progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Singaporean building codes and regulations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of site processes and efficiency.
- Able to handle any other ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned by superior and management
Qualifications:
- Min Diploma in Civil/ Structural Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Engineer in Singapore's construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and equipment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
- Good knowledge of Singaporean building codes and regulations.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD
