Site Engineer (Construction)

Job Description & Requirements:

v Review of civil & Structural working drawings and shop drawings in connection with SEM and steel structure shop drawings during pre-construction phase to prepare construction methods, identifying risks to promote strategies and alternative methodologies to mitigate.

v Organizing regular meetings with the sub-contractor's technical teams to resolve technical problems in pre-construction and construction phase.

v Working closely with Design team and LTA/QPS (client) to resolve execution issues with appropriate functional proposals with an aid of presentation or sketches.

v Preparing method statement for construction working including RA and SWP.

v Prepare of RFI for site inspection for construction, MPI test, welding works and post concrete works and also involving in site inspection with QP.

v Reviewing of rebar BBS prepared by sub-con in compliance with standards and shop drawings roof slabs, steel structures and corbel details for precast installation.

v Site Supervision of construction of structures such as pile cap, undergrounds tanks, base slab, column (~12m high) including corbel, RC beams, Capping beam, RC and PC beam connections, ramps, steel and RC struts, hanging sumps and staircases.

v Reviewing and site supervision of surface water drain and waterproofing shop drawings and site work.

v Assisting construction manager for planning and preparing daily progress reports

v Tracking and optimizing manpower for each works

v Preparation of conceptual drawings for steel decking or other temporary structures required on site and reviewing shop drawing submitted by sub-con and supervising site installation.

v Reviewing concept drawings and supervising installation of bracing connections between permanent plunge-in-columns for top down column construction.

v Reviewing sub-con's shop drawing for steel strut and supervision of installation work.
