Job Description

We’re looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Global Events Manager to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of our global events program. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in events and leadership, who can manage a team and deliver impactful experiences across various formats.


You will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of high-profile events including industry expos, seminars, gala dinners, and networking events that strengthen our brand presence and drive business growth.


Global Event Strategy: Deliver international event programs aligned with business goals.

Team Leadership: Lead and support a high-performing global events team.

Vendor Management: Negotiate and coordinate with vendors and partners effectively.

Crisis Management: Handle on-site issues with quick, practical solutions.

Cultural Intelligence: Plan regionally relevant, globally consistent events.

Executive Engagement: Confidently manage interactions with senior stakeholders.

Experience Design: Craft impactful, brand-aligned event experiences.

Performance Tracking: Define KPIs and use insights to improve future events.

Budget Management: Maximize impact through efficient budget use.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the global events team, ensuring high-quality execution, collaboration, and performance.
  • Plan, organize, and deliver a calendar of international events, including but not limited to:
    • Industry expos and trade shows
    • Educational seminars and workshops
    • Gala dinners and award ceremonies
    • Networking functions and client engagement events
  • Oversee end-to-end event logistics: venue selection, vendor management, production, travel, branding, and run-of-show.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, timelines, and resource planning.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, partnerships, and creative teams to align event goals with business strategy.
  • Ensure a consistent and high-quality brand experience across all events.
  • Analyze event performance and ROI, reporting insights and recommendations to leadership.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in event management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale global events across multiple regions.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Confident working under pressure and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for event oversight and execution.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in the Forex, FinTech, or financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with event platforms, production agencies, and global vendor networks.
  • Basic design and content creation skills
