Secondary Science Teacher

Blue3 Academy serves as the secondary school division of Bluetree Education, which was established in 2018. With branches at Singapore Shopping Centre, Woodleigh Mall, Seletar Mall, Coronation Plaza, and Tampines CPF Building, we specialize in delivering high-quality math and science education. Our research-backed curriculum emphasizes real-world applications and hands-on learning, allowing students to engage deeply with the material, excel in their exams, and develop a lasting passion for learning.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students, providing academic support, and helping them achieve their academic goals. • Working Arrangement: 4 weekdays + 1 weekend / 3 weekdays + 2 weekends (Candidates who are able to work on both weekends would be highly considered)
• Working Hours: Weekdays (10:30am – 7pm / 12:30pm – 9pm), Weekends (9am – 5pm)

Key Responsibilities:

· Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum and tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.

· Provide regular, constructive feedback to both students and parents to track progress and development.

· Contribute to the development and instruction of secondary science syllabuses, with a primary focus on Chemistry and Physics for G3 and IP levels.

· Support marketing and brand-building initiatives.

· Collaborate with colleagues and staff on projects, fostering a positive and supportive team environment.

Key Requirements:

• Strong Science Background: You should have a solid understanding of science concepts, demonstrated through your academic or teaching experience.
• Teaching Experience: Prior experience teaching or tutoring Science (or other subjects) is highly preferred, whether in schools, learning centres, or through volunteer work.
• Engaging Personality: You need to be able to make learning fun and approachable, infusing joy and excitement into your lessons.
• Adaptability & Drive: You must be committed to professional growth and willing to take on new challenges in your teaching journey.
• Strong Communication Skills: Be comfortable engaging with students, parents, and colleagues in a professional yet approachable manner.
