RESIDENT TECHNICAL OFFICER

Job Description:

• Assist SRE & RE to carry out supervision of LTA infrastructure construction.
• Supervise the Contractor's work to approved drawings & specification.
• Keeping site records and all necessary site documentation.
• To ensure all the works carried out by Contractor are accordance to approved plans, programs, method statements and specifications are updated.
• Supervise Contractor’s works to ensure quality and safety standard are according to approveddocuments.
• Be vigilant to look out for any stress-signal and ensure that remedial work, if any, is carried out immediately.
• To report to contractor non-conformance and unsafe works and to ensure safety before work commences.
• To write and record daily activities in a shift report.
• To attend and keep record of all inspection and testing as requested by the contractor and acknowledged by RE.

Job requirement:

• Diploma in the Civil/Structural discipline or equivalent with minimum two (2) years of relevant experience in projects similar in nature to the works in LTA rail/road project.
• RTO will be required to register with JAC as the qualified site supervisor.
• Attached latest RTO Certificate
