Purchasing Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end purchasing activities including sourcing, negotiation, issuing POs, and shipment coordination
• Coordinate with vendors, project teams, and freight forwarders on import/export matters
• Familiar with Bill of Lading, permits, and BCA approval for project-related shipments
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on pricing, quality, lead time, and compliance with specifications
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with key local and overseas suppliers
• Monitor and control purchasing budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities
• Support site requisitions and ensure timely material deliveries for projects
• Maintain and update ISO documentation and procurement records
• Handle e-invoicing, delivery order verification, and supplier performance review
• Prepare reports for finance and submit monthly subcontractor materials chargebacks

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Master's degree or equivalent with at least 5 years working experience
• Excellent communication skills to work with international suppliers.
• Willing to travel for business and handle vendor communication across different time zones
• A good team player with leadership, negotiation, and coordination skills
• Experience in handling overseas purchasing and import/export documentation preferred
• Familiarity with purchasing systems and digital invoicing platforms is an advantage
