Pharmacy Technician / Assistant

Job Description

Responsibilities:

You will maintain a continuous improvement mindset to seek out opportunities for enhancements to quality, productivity and/or patient safety care.

• Assist in prescription processing/supplying of medicines to outpatients, inpatient and other departments, e.g.: Laboratory, Radiology and wards
• Pack oral and topical medications
• Collect prescription charges for outpatients
• Assist Pharmacist in store management
• Assist in compiling statistics for reports and survey
• Involve in Quality Improvement or Patient Safety Project

Requirements:

• Pharmacy Assistant : N/O/A Levels (min.)
• Pharmacy Technician :

-Diploma in Pharmaceautical Science / Diploma in Applied Science (Pharmaceautical Science)

-WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support (Pharmacy Support) or equivalent

• Preferably with experience in clinic or hospital setting
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
