Field Service Assistant Engineer - KT

Job Description:

• Providing technical support to field service teams
• Supporting Factory Acceptance test and Site Acceptance test
• Maintaining accurate and reliable service tool inventory
• Completing if service documentation is completed in proper format and by due dates- this includes items such as timesheets, service/repair reports, follow ups, daily logs, expenses, etc
• Handle high vacuum equipment, pumps, chillers, and compressors
• Submit timely documents of service activities and expenses
• Ensuring proper storage of engineering documentation- drawings, version history, scope documents, RFI's

Requirements:

• Degree/ Diploma / ITE Certificate in Instrumentation / CPT/ Electronics /Mechatronic Engineering with 2 years of related experience in Instrumentation.
• Candidates with no experiences are welcome to apply (less than 3 years of experience will be considered for the Assistant Engineer role).
• Candidates with previous experience at companies like Lam Research, Applied Materials, TEL, ASM, etc., as Assistant Engineers or Engineers are preferred.
• Background in Field Service related to Vacuum Technology or engineering roles in aerospace.
• Extensive experience in servicing machines in sectors such as semiconductor, shipbuilding, aerospace, and high vacuum systems.
• Capable of leading a small team of junior Assistant Engineers.
• At least 3 years of experience working with PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) or other coating machines will be plus.
• Able to quickly adapt and contribute effectively to the role.
• Experience with PLC systems and sputtering/etching tools is plus.
